1987 Pontiac Fiero GT 2.8l V6 , 5 Speed ,  84 k miles

I bought this car about 3 years ago as a forgotten project .(it was not crashed he just wanted to repaint it) . It had been off the road for several years. I brought it home and went through it. over the last couple years I have replaced Brakes , Tires , Alt , Struts , Shocks ,Clutch , Transmission , Battery , Fuel filter etc.    It runs and drives great

THIS CAR IS NOT a picture perfect show car or a full blown restoration. I drive this car daily.   It still needs a few things. Biggest problem is the headlight motors (common problem) BOTH need to be rebuilt or replaced. I haven't gotten to those yet.   The Drivers side works but is not strong enough to open the door. I have to open the hood so the light comes up . the passenger side does not move. I lift it by hand and prop it up.

The center button for the power mirrors is missing . the cigarette lighter and cover are also missing. The seats could use covers and the headliner is torn /showing its age. Drivers door mirror is cracked and both door window belt moldings are dry rotted and should be changed

As you can see it has a new custom paint job with blue metal flake through the black. Again not show quality but a very nice professional job. Interior trim has also been repainted.

This car really turns heads and I'm sure you wont find another one like it

I hate to see it go but its the same old story , I need the money

NOTE  >>>>   TITLE INFO   <<<<<<     In New Hampshire older vehicles are NOT issued titles. This car is sold with a bill of sale and registration information only.  PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR STATE TO FIND OUT IF YOU CAN GET A NEW TITLE ISSUED. I know this can be done but I'm sure each state will have different requirements .

BUYER is responsible for All Shipping costs and arraignments . I can not ship this car

I hope I covered everything but if you have any questions please let me know

Thanks for looking

How to turn a Pontiac Fiero into a trackday car

Fri, 17 Oct 2014

Imagine hitting the track in a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive sports coupe that's affordable and has pretty good parts availability. It might sound like a pipe dream, but it's actually quite possible, if you're willing to think a little outside the box. The Pontiac Fiero is out there just waiting for a little work to turn it into a competent racing machine.
Think about it for a second. Of course, we would all like to be snaking through the curves in something exotic, but what happens when you crash or something breaks? The bills are going to mount up quickly. However, if you ball up a Fiero at the track, as long as you're not hurt, then it's not a huge tragedy.
That's basically the story of Steven Snyder in a new video from Drive starring Matt Farah. Snyder wanted to go to the track cheaply and ended up with an awesome little Fiero with a huge wing and a claimed 220 horsepower at the wheels thanks to a V6 from a Chevrolet Lumina. Check out the video to see how this pint-size Pontiac performs.

Distracted driver crosses center line and hits police car

Wed, Apr 6 2016

Attentive driving and quick reflexes saved the life of a police officer in Hudson, WI, when an oncoming driver drifted into the officer's lane and struck his cruiser. According to KMSP, the officer was patrolling along a busy road through Hudson on March 31 when the crash occurred. Dash cam video from the patrol car which was released to local media shows the dramatic collision unfold. As the officer came around a mild left-hand curve, a white, 90s-era Pontiac Grand Am continued straight through the curve, across the center line, and directly into the officer's path. The officer was able to avoid a head-on collision, but the Pontiac still struck the driver's side of the patrol car. "Both the officer and the other driver are ok, however, this accident could have been much, much worse," said a Hudson Police Department official on the department's Facebook page. "So please remember to pay attention to your driving at all times when behind the wheel." Minnesota's Department of Public Safety estimates that one in every four crashes in the State of Minnesota are caused by distracted drivers. DPS believes that the actual number may be higher, but police often have difficulty proving distracted driving as the cause of a crash. Government/Legal Pontiac Driving Safety Coupe Police/Emergency

Want to buy a worst-in-show-winning Faux Ferrari Fiero?

Mon, Aug 31 2020

UPDATE: This heap sold for $5,001. But don't fret, there are more terrible cars out there for the taking if that's your thing. Today we bring you something truly terrible. It's not just a fake Ferrari built on the guts of an old Pontiac Fiero, it's actually the world's worst fake Ferrari built on the guts of an old Pontiac Fiero. And it's got the award from the Concours d'Lemons to prove it. It's so heinous, in fact, that it has somehow managed to become desirable, at least judging by the bidding history of this bright red affront to Maranello. Powered by a 140-horsepower 2.8-liter V6 engine (covered by an unconvincing and broken fake V12 cover) hooked to an automatic gearbox, this gloriously poor Prancing Horse won't be winning many stoplight drag races. There are bundles of stray wires hanging down from the dashboard, it has high mileage, most of its lights don't work, and it's ugly. Like, really ugly. And to top it off, this Fauxrarri can't currently be registered in its home state of California because it has failed its most recent smog test. Put simply, you're looking at a total piece of junk. But a piece of junk with internet notoriety, having been featured on an episode of Jay Leno's Garage after attending the 2019 Quail Motorsports Gathering — by mistake at first, and then earning a special place next to the porta potties — being the focus of a video series on YouTube and winning the aforementioned ribbon for Worst in Show at Lemons. Somehow, bidding has topped $4,000 at the time of this writing. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
