This is the last of the Bonneville's. This style SLE was only produced for 2005. It looks like the GPX but has the gas saving 6 cylinder engine. It is all original and is in excellent condition, with 72,900 miles at the present. The Michelin tires are in great shape. The car drives perfectly!!! The car has no door dings and the paint is nearly flawless and it shines like new. The car has won car of the month in the Pontiac Bonneville Club. The rims have no scratches. The windows have been professionally tinted. The leather seats are in excellent condition as well as the the dash board. It has remote entry, remote trunk opening, and tilt steering wheel. It has power windows, locks, cd player, 6-way driver seat, cold AC, and more. It also sports fog lights. This is a rare find and probably the cleanest around!!! My mechanic at the dealership mentioned that it is the cleanest Bonneville he has seen, since they were new in 2005.

Only negatives that I know of:

The brakes shimmy lightly at times when applying the brakes at high speed. The rotors need turning. The front and rear bumpers have normal MINOR scaring, no big deal. THAT IS IT!!!!

The car has been de-badged and chrome tips were added to the tailpipes.

The car has a cold air intake that can be easily switched back to the original equipment. I have all the original parts.

Full payment is to me made within 3 days of the sale. A non refundable $500 deposit it required within 48 hours of the sale, payable to paypal. Payment with Cashier's check only.

GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected

Tue, 20 May 2014

General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:
1,339,355 - Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia models from the 2009 to 2014 model years; Saturn Outlook models from the 2009 to 2010 model years

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.

Watch as Hot Rod goes from El Paso to LA the hard way

Tue, 21 Feb 2012

There are few things simultaneously more romantic and idiotic than taking a road trip in a beaten-down heap of a car. Trust us. We know. David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of Hot Rod Magazine fame recently undertook an epic trip from El Paso, Texas to Los Angeles with the express goal of doing so for under $1,500, including the purchase price of a vehicle, food, lodging, repairs and, most importantly, fuel. With this in mind, the duo settled on a 1972 Pontiac Catalina for a lofty $650. Hilarity ensues.
Realizing that no one actually wants a Catalina sulking around the shop, Freiburger and Finnegan put the car up for auction on eBay Motors the instant they had the title in hand. By the time they rolled into Hot Rod HQ, the vehicle sold for a little over $500.
The video is part of a new series called Roadkill that should document similar adventures. Keep your eyes peeled for more calamity-soaked clips in the near future. In the meantime, hit the jump to check it out yourself.
