I purchased the car this spring. I have driven it almost daily since then. 1967 Pontiac Bonneville 4dr hardtop. Factory cameo white car with parchment interior and black vinyl roof. A/C car, p/s, p/b. Newer dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. 15" Cragar S/S mags. From what I know the car has spent it's entire life in this area. Does need pretty much the entire interior redone. Has rust under the vinyl top which is very typical for these cars. I've owned several and they were all like this. Runs fantastic and sounds great. I honestly don't want to sell it but I'm in the market for another toy so this one has to go. I will trade the car for a similar condition 1965 Buick Riviera. Please call 864-369-2114 for more info. I can deliver the car within roughly a 10-12 hour radius of Greenville, SC for a fee. Car can be seen and inspected by appointment. Car, title and keys will not be released until all funds have cleared the bank. $500 nonrefundable deposit must be made via paypal within 24hrs of auctions end.

2008-2009 Pontiac G8 recalled over airbag concern
Mon, 07 Nov 2011General Motors is recalling around 38,000 Pontiac G8 sedans from its 2008 and 2009 model years. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that the cars may have a passenger-side airbag flaw that might prevent proper deployment in certain scenarios.
According to NHTSA, the airbag might not adequately protect a fifth percentile woman - that is, a woman around four-foot, 11-inches weighing 108 pounds. The New York Times indicates that the anomaly was found during a crash test conducted by GM's Australian branch, Holden, which was testing the G8's twin (read: Commodore) for head injuries. According to that report, the test in question is specifically tailored to simulate injuries to females, so the results do not apply to men or children.
The issue has been blamed on a seat position sensor that governs airbag deployment rates. NHTSA indicates that when the front passenger seat is moved all the way forward, the faulty sensor may inappropriately trigger a 30-millisecond delay between airbag stages, potentially leading to greater injuries.
Lutz says GM was working on 5th-gen Pontiac GTO
Thu, 08 Aug 2013Bob Lutz was one of the forces behind bringing the Holden Monaro to the United States, as the ill-fated Pontiac GTO in 2004. And while that car received critical acclaim, it was a sales disappointment. Now, Road & Track is reporting that our suspicions were correct - Pontiac was working on a two-door, G8-based coupe before it was shuttered.
In that R&T article, which is no longer available online, Lutz explained that the new GTO would solve many of the issues found in the original. Car Advice speculates that the new model would have look like a rebadged version of the Holden Coupe 60 Concept from 2008, a conclusion we also came to.
That car would have been a big departure from the 2004 to 2006 GTO. It has an extremely long hood and short rear deck, with an almost fastback roofline and a wide greenhouse with a tall beltline. The wheel arches were very pronounced, and the chin and rocker panel splitters gave it a race-ready look. Would it have been enough to make the GTO work in the US? We think it might of, but it looks like we'll never know.
