2006 Grand Prix Gxp 5.3 V8 on 2040-cars
Lockport, Illinois, United States
Up for sale is a 2006 Grand Prix GXP with 86524 miles. I am the third owner and have owned this car for about 2 years. This vehicle has a clear title with no accidents. Since that time I had the windows professionally tinted all the way around with 20% tint except the windshield. I had the newest in-dash gps/DVD/sat installed last year at a cost of 1600.00 USC model dnx6190hd. In October of 2013 I had stainless kook mufflers put on with new piping from the y-pipe. At the same time new brakes we're put on all 4 corners with a fresh alignment. Then I parked it for the winter. I have a warranty till feb 15 2015 or 90,000 miles which ever comes first, I am unsure if it is transferable but can work that out with the new buyer. Currently I have no more room for this car and it needs to go so I priced it over 2000 USC under Kelly blue book. The car runs drives and shifts great with an awesome exhaust note that I get thumbs up all the time. Tires are about 60% tread left all around maybe more. Car also has keyless entry with remote start and two sets of keys. HUD works great and is bright along with the moon-roof. Their is a couple of nicks and scratches here and their but nothing major. The only bad is one quarter size ding on the passenger fender and the steering wheel radio controls some times stick when it's cold outside that's it. No trades, cash, Paypal or direct bank transfer excepted. Title in hand. Vehicle can be viewed upon talking to me. This is my baby so no low ball offers or joy riders excepted. 8600.00 buy it now is cheap these cars are getting harder to find. Contact threw e-mail lmickey73@gmail.com for my phone number ( Ryan). This car is for sale locally, auction can be ended at any time.

BMX rider flips for wrecked Detroit football stadium
Fri, Jun 12 2015Detroit is littered with derelict ruins. Abandoned automotive assembly plants, sure but also former sports venues, like Tiger Stadium in Corktown, Roesink Stadium in Hamtramck, and the Silverdome in Pontiac. BMX rider Tyler Fernengel remembers going to see the Lions and Pistons play at the Silverdome in his youth, and competed there in Supercross as a boy. The stadium hasn't been used in years, but now, with his career just picking up, Tyler has returned to film this video Β riding through its halls, jumping its stairwells and flipping over its grandstands and field. It's a fitting tribute to a once-great venue of suburban Michigan. Check out the footage in this latest clip from Red Bull. Junkyard Gem: 2000 Pontiac Sunfire coupe
Thu, Feb 21 2019In a few months, we'll reach the tenth anniversary of GM's axing of the venerable Pontiac brand. G6s, Vibes, and Matizes continued to be built until 2010, but I'm noticing a marked decrease in discarded Pontiacs lately, as I perform my junkyardy rituals. Here's a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire, photographed in a Colorado wrecking yard. The Sunfire was the near-identical sibling to the Chevrolet Cavalier, based on the long-running (1982-2005) J-Body platform. It was cheap and simple, looked pretty sporty (at least in coupe form), and every parts store in North America carried just about everything you'd need to keep one running. This coupe had to compete for sales not only with a vast and menacing array of imports but with GM's own Saturn SC2 (not to mention the Cavalier itself). Meanwhile, the J platform was showing its age more with each passing year. This car sports what must have been the complete line of Fatal Clothing bomber-nose-art/skate-punk/gang-tag-influenced decals, circa 2010. I actually photographed this car back in 2011, then misplaced the image files until last week. The stickers are very California-centric for a Colorado car, but then plenty of Californians including meΒ move here. When you know you're a car's final owner, it's a lot easier to whip out the paint pens and redecorate the interior. Power came from the engine GM developed for the very first J-Bodies: the 2.2-liter 122 pushrod four-cylinder. 2002 was the last model year for 122-powered Sunfires and Cavaliers; the most affordable S-10/Sonoma/Hombre trucks got this engine through 2003. It even came with a remote, so bad Midwestern farmgirls could make quick getaways when caught in the act by enraged broom-wielding mothers. Burt Reynolds' vehicles up for auction at Barrett-Jackson
Tue, Sep 25 2018Burt Reynolds' influence on car culture cannot be overstated. Be it "Smokey and the Bandit" or "Cannonball Run," his films inspired a generation of car enthusiasts. He died a few weeks back from cardiac arrest at age 82. This weekend, four vehicles from Reynolds' personal collection three Pontiacs and a Chevy Β will go up for auction at Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas. It seems Reynolds had plans to sell the cars before he passed. He even filmed a short teaser for the auction and planned to attend the event himself. Three of the cars are Pontiac Trans Ams. Two are re-creations of the cars he drove in "Bandit" and the film "Hooper." Both are 1978 models. The third Trans Am is from 1984 and was used to promote Reynolds' USFL team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth vehicle is a 1978 Chevy R30 pickup truck. It's styled like the truck he drove in "Cannonball Run." None of the vehicles were actually used in the movies. But they were registered in his name, making them far more legitimate than some other movie-inspired clones. It's unclear how many Bandit Trans Ams Reynolds has owned over the years. Another car connected to him sold for $450,000 back in 2014. His death is sure to drive the price of these new cars even higher.
