 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 + 2 Aerocoupe

I am listing this car for my UNCLE

DO NOT EMAIL ME as I know nothing about this car.

CALL HIM at 603-620-1607, But Please not with stupid offers don't waste his time or yours.

56k miles was brought to NH from Maryland a few years ago. Always stored in heated warhouse & garage while in New Hampshire

New Hampshire is a NON title state for cars over 15 years old we use simple bill of sale. If your state requires other paperwork then find out ahead of time.

This car is all stock, has most paperwork for any repairs during its 26 years of life.

It is not a show car! Yet it is not a wreck either.  Has a few typical blems for a 26 year old car.  (some paint stress cracks on the plastic bumper areas) and a chip of paint off the right side of rear spoiler)

My uncle prefers you come get the car in person & pay in cash.  DO NOT PAY ME!  Arrainge with him the deposit you would like to send.

If you can't pickup then you will need to arrainge for shipping & send bank check with clear period.

Overseas scammers take a hike!, resellers take a hike!, trades take a hike! NOT INTERESTED

Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO

Mon, 24 Jun 2013

Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.

1939 Pontiac Ghost Car commands $308,000 at auction

Mon, 01 Aug 2011

For the 1939 World's Fair, Pontiac built a Deluxe Six bodied in Plexiglass. Part of the Previews of Progress pavilion in which General Motors' Futurama showed off what was to come in the world of autos, the 'invisible' Pontiac is credited as the first transparent car in America. And there were no shortcuts taken with its body: the Plexiglass form was fabricated by the company that brought the material to market in 1933, Rohm & Haas.
The see-through sedan was sold at RM Auctions' St. John's auction in Michigan on July 30, fetching $308,000. Not bad appreciation for a domestic oddity that cost $25,000 to build when new. You can check out the high-res gallery of its innards, including copper and chrome metalwork and white moldings and wheels, and get the exhaustive details on it after the jump.

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
