First off read all of the discription and see all of the photo`s. I bought this car from the previous owner to finish and flip, The work done to this car has been very extensive; I will do my best to give all the details with out boring you to death, The following work was done by the previous owner; consisting of new quarters on both sides, full trunk pan, New hood from year one, crate 350 motor and crate TH350 transmission with a shift kit and deeper ribbed pan, 12 bolt rear-end with 391 gears, Ladder traction bars, drive shaft safety loop, Power disc brake up front, 3/8 fuel line, After market Heat and A/C system,

This is the work done by me after I got the car; First I checked everything the previous owner did and made any needed changes, I pulled the front clip off and installed new headers wrapped in high temp titanium wrap to drop heat in the engine bay, Finished running the dual exhaust out the back. I pulled the intake and installed a new Pro-comp air gap 4 barrel intake and Edel-Brock carb.
I replaced the radiator with a new aluminum high flow with twin 12" electric fans, A high out put alternator, Finished hooking up the a/c & heating system. Mounted a additional electric fan on the a/c condenser coil. New battery box and hold down, all new bolts for the complete front clip assembly. rebuilt the door hinges.
New headlights and adjuster springs, New windshield, Painted the dash, Installed a good used oem style dash gauge cluster and wiring.
The old one was in poor condition. Radio and front and rear speakers and wire.  New after market gauges to monitor the engine.
I replaced the drivers side front floor pan and gas pedal mounting studs; cleaned the rest of the floor and painted; then added Dynamat to the floor and the doors for a better quality ride, New carpet and head liner.  All the light bulbs were replaced and connections cleaned and electrical grease applied.
All of the interior was cleaned and installed as well as new rear view mirror assembly and sun visors, I found a good spare rim and blasted it and painted it; No spare tire though.
Took all of the bright work and buffed it up as best possible and reinstalled, I cleaned up the tail panel Pontiac placard and applied a little paint and mounted it.
Blasted all of the rally 2 rims and painted the correct color and buffed up the trim pieces and balanced all tires.
I removed all of the front end and cleaned and painted the parts then installed new rubber bushings upper and lower, new upper and lower ball joints cleaned and repacked the wheel bearings. New inner and outer tie rod ends and adjusters, Center drag link and Idler arm. then installed with new front coils springs and had the alignment done. Replaced the gas tank and put in a new sending unit and After market gas gauge in the dash where a clock would normally go.
The car was completely sanded and primed then sanded again and painted a off white (Mercedes Benz Color) and clear coated. Most of the wet-sanding has been done and the large areas buffed all new seals installed. This car is not perfect or a trailer queen it is how ever a very nice and dependable daily driver if you so desire. It is truly fun to drive and is appreciated by those that see it.
Please ask questions. 904-365-1138 ask for Mike  The reserve is really low for the amount of money and work  (just over 12k) This is here for all you guys that pester me about the reserve. You could NOT build this car for the money I want and you know it; if you don`t you are not mechanically inclined.
Here are the negatives, The front horns need to be replaced and the horn relay installed I will leave out the relay and include it so it is not damage by someone trying to make the horn work, You will need to buy a spare tire for the rim and get a jack assembly I do have the mounting hook and wing nut. The head light bezels are in poor condition as well as the tail light bezels. to complete the cloning you will need the correct tail light bezels and quarter panel emblems and trunk emblem. I am sure I have left out some thing that is why I put my phone number in the auction description. a few small chips in the paint I will attempt to repair before sold.
This car runs strong and pulls hard and it does it on regular pump gas. Lastly I am selling this to get a truck as I need one for my work; I am NOT interested in trades, I bought this to flip and have no attachments to it; I am a MOPAR guy; although i really do enjoy this car. it has classic lines and a good mix of economy power and rock solid reliability. Hope you like what you see and read, good luck bidding. I do not use Pay-Pal and want either cash upon the pick up of the car or certified bank check and from a bank that does business in Florida, Direct deposit, or U.S.Postal money order.

On Mar-22-13 at 16:42:50 PDT, seller added the following information:

I failed to mention a few things. First I have the correct rocker molding trim pieces and a new bag of correct mounting hardware to install them that go with the car.

Second I would like to point out if you do not have at least 5 positive feed backs with no negative comments do not bid on my auction until you call me first or your bid WILL be withdrawn.
Third I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as I have it for sale locally so if you want this car make up your mind and bid because it will go.

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels

Sat, 14 Dec 2013

We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.

Want to buy a worst-in-show-winning Faux Ferrari Fiero?

Mon, Aug 31 2020

UPDATE: This heap sold for $5,001. But don't fret, there are more terrible cars out there for the taking if that's your thing. Today we bring you something truly terrible. It's not just a fake Ferrari built on the guts of an old Pontiac Fiero, it's actually the world's worst fake Ferrari built on the guts of an old Pontiac Fiero. And it's got the award from the Concours d'Lemons to prove it. It's so heinous, in fact, that it has somehow managed to become desirable, at least judging by the bidding history of this bright red affront to Maranello. Powered by a 140-horsepower 2.8-liter V6 engine (covered by an unconvincing and broken fake V12 cover) hooked to an automatic gearbox, this gloriously poor Prancing Horse won't be winning many stoplight drag races. There are bundles of stray wires hanging down from the dashboard, it has high mileage, most of its lights don't work, and it's ugly. Like, really ugly. And to top it off, this Fauxrarri can't currently be registered in its home state of California because it has failed its most recent smog test. Put simply, you're looking at a total piece of junk. But a piece of junk with internet notoriety, having been featured on an episode of Jay Leno's Garage after attending the 2019 Quail Motorsports Gathering — by mistake at first, and then earning a special place next to the porta potties — being the focus of a video series on YouTube and winning the aforementioned ribbon for Worst in Show at Lemons. Somehow, bidding has topped $4,000 at the time of this writing. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. General Motors Recall List

Wed, Oct 22 2014

It seems General Motors can't go more than a few weeks without issuing a major recall. Since the initial ignition lock recall on February 10, over 25 million vehicles have been recalled for defects. It seems General Motors can't go more than a few weeks without issuing a major recall. Since the initial ignition lock recall on February 10, over 25 million vehicles have been recalled for defects. We used the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recall list to compile a snapshot of all the GM vehicles recalled in the last two months. NHTSA also provides a search engine that allows owners to search for recalls on their vehicle. An automotive company must do everything in their power to notify its customers when a recall is issued on a vehicle. If you own any of the following vehicles and you have questions regarding your car, you can contact Chevrolet at 1-866-694-6546, GMC at 1-866-996-9463, Buick at 1-800-521-7300 and Cadillac at 1-866-982-2339. Or check out General Motor's recall site. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to www.safercar.gov. Here's a brief summery of the other vehicles currently under recall: July 26 – 414,333 cars affected NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V447000 Models under recall: Certain model year 2011-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal and Chevrolet Camaro, as well as certain 2010-2012 Cadillac SRX, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles, equipped with power height adjustable driver and passenger seats. Problem: In the affected vehicles, the bolt that secures the driver's and passenger's power front seat height adjuster may fall out causing the seat to drop suddenly to the lowest vertical position. Consequence: If the driver's seat unexpectedly drops, the distraction and altered seat position may affect the drivers' control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Solution: Dealers will replace the height adjuster shoulder bolts, free of charge. July 14 – 16,939 cars affected NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V341000 Models under recall: Certain model year 2011 Cadillac CTS vehicles manufactured October 18, 2010, to June 2, 2011. Problem: In the affected vehicles, vibrations from the drive shaft may cause the vehicle's roll over sensor to command the roof rail air bags to deploy. Consequence: If the roof rail air bags deploy unexpectedly, there is an increased risk of crash and injury to the occupants.
