Florida
My name is Mike and I can be reached at 239-895-3962
Being from Florida I can't find a speck
of rust on this car and it is spotless inside. Runs,
drives and shifts
nice and no rattles or squeaks either.
Had to be "garage"
kept and never smoked in because the paint and
interior are near "flawless".
Loaded with lots of extras like 16" custom alloy
wheels-rear spoiler-tinted windows-custom accent
stripe-keyless remote
with 2 keys and 2 remotes plus a hard to find color
in Sunburst Orange Metallic.
Best of all is
the nifty 2.2L 4 cylinder Ecotec engine that doesn't need a tune
up till
100,000 miles. Low on maintenance, provides power with 148
horsepower and yields an economical 22 combined/29 highway.
Some people
tested were even getting 35 MPG's according to
fueleconomy.gov.
We also had this vehicle safety inspected and this
was already previously done
at Germain Toyota in Naples, Florida, where we
bought the vehicle. We
did change the oil; this vehicle already has new
brakes and a
nice set of Nexen tires on it.
Questions?
Call Mike 239-895-3962
Other standard features include air bags-automatic
transmission-ice cold air conditioner-Delco am/fm cd

windows, locks, side view mirrors and trunk release-cruise
control-tilt
wheel-owners manual-fold down rear seats plus many more.
The air conditioner blows ice
cold and all the power equipment works including all
of the speakers.
Can't find a reason not to buy!
This vehicle was on the lot at Germain
Toyota for $8999 plus like most Dealers you also
have to pay an extra
"Dealer Fee" up to $1000 more. We are probably the
only dealer in
Florida without "Dealer Fees."
If
you would like to make a reasonable offer call Mike right
now at 239-895-3962
We have this vehicle on sale on our lot
for only $7990; however to help with the shipping we

****PLEASE
READ BEFORE BIDDING****
-
We ask
that all successful bidders please contact me within 24
hours of auction end to begin process of completing the
sale. Please do not make a bid on my car if you have no
intention of buying it. Time is precious, let's not waste
each other's. We promise to be fair to you, please do the
same for us.
-
All vehicles are
sold "as-is" with no warranty expressed or implied. Buyer
assumes all responsibility once vehicle leaves our
possession. The vehicle will be described accurately, but
remember these are used cars, they will show signs as such.
You are not bidding on brand new cars, so there may be parts
of the vehicle that are not brand new. We are sure this is
obvious to most people, but we just want it to be perfectly
clear. We will do our best to describe all the obvious and
important things so you have a good idea of what you are
buying. With advance notice we will make our vehicles
available for a PRE-BID inspection. This must be completed
prior to bidding.
We are an appointment only dealership. Please just
either email or contact us by phone when making an
appointment to view a vehicle or to pick up one you have
purchased. Thanks so much.
-
All

documentation to back up the miles on these older cars, we
will.

transfer. A $500 dollar non- refundable deposit (PayPal
preferred) must be received within 3 business days following

Florida residents must include 6% sales tax. According to
Florida law, if an out-of-state purchaser takes delivery of
a vehicle in the state of Florida we are obligated as a
licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the
purchasers state sales tax. The purchaser will then be given
a receipt proving tax paid to present to their tax
collectors office for sales tax credit. This does not apply
to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in
Florida.
-
Buyer assumes the cost of shipping and insurance. We already
have contacts to ship the vehicle anywhere in the U.S.A. and
will be glad to arrange this for you, and give you cost
estimate ahead of time. If you are going to fly in, we will
arrange transportation from the Ft. Myers International

cancel any auction early. This will be rare because we want
to give everyone a fair chance. So don't be afraid to bid.
-
As with
any preowned vehicle, personal preference is a factor.
Please consider and expect to invest a few hundred dollars
into your new car, catering it to your individual tastes
and requirements. We do try our very best to objectively
describe our offerings and welcome your emails and phone

How many people think Buick or GMC should have gotten the axe instead of Pontiac? You can't see it, but I'm raising my hand. Autoweek reports that former Vice Chairman of GM, Bob Lutz, has indicated that things didn't have to end up the way they did.
"The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.'"
In a talk given at the Petersen Automotive Museum for the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, Lutz says "The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.' So, it goes. And when the guy who is handing you the check for $53 billion says, 'I don't want Pontiac, drop Pontiac or you don't get the money,' it doesn't take you very long to make up your mind." Lutz even added that the next-generation Pontiac G6 would have benefitted from the rear-wheel-drive platform of the Cadillac ATS. How awesome would that have been?

This is part of an occasional look at cars for sale in Autoblog's classifieds. Want to sell your car? We make it easy and free. Quickly create listings with up to six photos and reach millions of buyers. Log in and create your free listings. In the early '60s, Baby Boomers born immediately after World War II were beginning to buy cars and enjoy their own distinctive music. This wasn't yet the drug culture; rather, it was the drag culture, more Jan and Dean "Dead Man's Curve" than Beatles "Lucy In The Sky." And a Baby Boomer's desired ride, more often than not, was Pontiac's GTO. Introduced as a manned-up option for Pontiac's compact Tempest, the early GTO was 389 cubic inches of romp and stomp. And with a marketing campaign that hit Middle America via what it watched and ate (TV ads and cereal-box promos were a big part of the GTO launch), there was no escaping it. Like most performance coupes and convertibles, 10 years later it was became an emasculated version of its once lusty self. And then it was gone. Its revival, championed by General Motors executive Bob Lutz, was not by any stretch the Second Coming. Starting in 2004, GM modified its Australian-built Holden Monaro to approximate the excitement of the original formula: a coupe body propelled by a big V8. But the Holden's sheetmetal was quietly styled, and even the 400 horsepower available by 2006 didn't electrify buyers. With hindsight, the resurrected GTO is enjoying more attention and, slowly but surely, increasing in value. This for-sale example shows well, enjoys low mileage, and is – naturally – priced well above what is perceived to be its market value. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.
