2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Coupe 2-door 5.7l Ws6 6 Speed Hurst Manual Trans on 2040-cars
Dayton, Nevada, United States

I have for sale my 02 Pontiac Trans am WS6 with the LS1 engine and 6 speed Hurst manual transmission. T-Tops. Traction control. It has just over 78K miles. The engine is all stock except for a ported and polished throttle body and a SLP lid. Has the skip shift eliminator. Dual Magnaflow exhaust, sounds very nice! 17" American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with near new tires. Cross drilled and slotted rotors with brake pads all around. Has been lowered in the front and rear with new springs and shocks all around. Strut tower brace. New panhard bar. Custom aluminum WS6 rear differential cover. Weld in subframe connectors. MP3 stereo with Ipod dock, amp and 10" sub in back. Tinted windows. Nothing but full synthetic oils used! Well taken care of. Gets lots of looks and thumbs up! Everything works on this car except steering wheel controls with that brand stereo. Clean Carfax will come with it. Ask any questions or if there are any more specific pics requested, I will get them as soon as possible. I still drive it, so the mileage is going up, so take that into consideration. If weather permits, I will have it completely detailed before pickup or shipment. Thanks Here is a link to the value from NADA. http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/2002/Pontiac/Firebird/Trans-Am-2-Door-Coupe-_/Values

GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll
Tue, 25 Feb 2014
588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am
Mon, 13 May 2013No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

MotorWeek's 80's GM muscle coupe roundup includes Regal GN and Monte Carlo SS
Thu, Jan 29 2015Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). MotorWeek, in its hugely entertaining retro flashbacks, looks back on these three long-lost GM performance icons, and it's just as good as you might expect.
