2000 Pontiac Trans Am. Monsoon Stereo System with 12 disc changer. Corvette brake conversion on the front (bigger rotors and calipers). Koni adjustable shocks. Subframe connectors. Black anniversary rims with nitto tires. Short tube headers, and the car has been lowered. This is a very good and strong running car but with the higher mileage it's not perfect. This was a demo car for third shift studios and has some pretty neat additions to it like mirrors under the hood and motor dressing. On to the negative, the back right rim has a scuff from being run off the road and curbed, rim is perfectly fine and also got some rash on the bottom trim piece of the door. Car has two small dents on it that could easily be removed dent removal specialist. Very small oil leak that may leave a few small spots. Normal cracking on the trim on both doors which is very common for this car. The car was backed into two years ago on the front fender but fixed at the body shop and looks perfect. The head rests have the third shift embroidered into them. Not crazy about it but looks nice.

Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.

Abandoned automotive assembly plants, sure – but also former sports venues, like Tiger Stadium in Corktown, Roesink Stadium in Hamtramck, and the Silverdome in Pontiac. BMX rider Tyler Fernengel remembers going to see the Lions and Pistons play at the Silverdome in his youth, and competed there in Supercross as a boy. The stadium hasn't been used in years, but now, with his career just picking up, Tyler has returned to film this video – riding through its halls, jumping its stairwells and flipping over its grandstands and field. Wed, 15 May 2013When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion.
