   Up for your consideration is one of the rarest Trans Ams known on the planet. 1993 sunfire yellow,,6-speed,T-top Firebird.... it doesn't get any better or spectacular than this..period. The car looks like it has just a test drive out of the showroom.
Back in 1993 for the 4th time the new generation Firebird was available with a complete make over and a totally new car design that would last till the end of the Firebird. These cars were low,wide,sleek and powerful . Due to the fact they were new they were difficult to get and had very low production numbers. In fact only 5121 produced . At  the time I was working on this listing there were no 93 TA's on ebay. as you should know in buying investment grade autos you should always buy the first year and last year of that generation.. How rare is this car.. yellow color only 90 produced,only 22 with t-tops,???  6-speed,??? luxury reclining seats,???, with the 12D,and AU3 RPO codes.  I do have the original title (never changed) and manifest and all docs since new. Purchase at Joe Cotton Pontiac in Glendale Heights IL. Window sticker never been on car ,service manuals,Owners manual,compact disc,second set of keys still in delivery bag,various other factory info included all in new condition along with PHS info and showroom brochures...incredible and  not replaceable. Original Goodyears GSC tires and factory wheels removed and store, (even wear about 60 %left). Belts hoses are conditioned and original,all rubber conditioned for storage,doors, windows etc. As I mentioned this car is as close to new as you will ever find. Still smells new inside... flawless in and out.. car is spectacular. I am not a Pontiac expert and have represented this car to the depth of my knowledge...What I can see and read, but I do know cars.

   I just sold a $33K Camaro on Ebay and please look at my feedback.  I have my eye on something else and need some room ..too many toys. I planned on keeping this one and as you know Pontiacs are moving fast in value.this car will probably be worth double the value in 5years. This Firebird is simply the best out there..period .....not a nick,smell,scratch,.nothing. Stored in climate control under a cover its whole life, car is a 20 year old time capsule. I am the owner and a private seller . You will be responsible for transport and I would certainly do an enclosed. Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."

Celebrate the summer solstice by building the Pontiac Solstice shooting brake GM never did

Happy summer solstice, everyone! To celebrate, we have a particularly unusual eBay find connected to the Pontiac Solstice sports car. A seller has leftover inventory of fiberglass hardtops designed to turn the Pontiac Solstice roadster into a shooting brake. The seller says they came from a since-closed Indiana company, and they're clearly inspired by another aftermarket part and even a GM concept that never saw the light of day. We'll start from the beginning: the stillborn Chevy Nomad concept. It was a concept that came out about the same time as the original Solstice concept, and it was clearly based on the same platform, featuring a small two-door body and a long nose. It also had unashamedly retro Nomad wagon design cues and cues from the original Corvette. The car never saw production, but clearly people were interested in having a wagon-like sports car. That brings us to the next bit of history with an aftermarket hardtop developed by German company EDAG. We saw a prototype in person, and the overall shape seemed to fit the car — and the wraparound window design certainly seemed Nomadic. Besides the unique look, the hardtop and its functional hatch made the Solstice roadster's miniscule cargo space far more usable. It doesn't appear many of the tops were sold, though. These tops on eBay look very similar to the EDAG tops, though it's not clear if they're a direct replica or something similar. Being that the parts are leftover inventory, the seller notes that some of the tops may be missing pieces for installation, so only those who are handy with bodywork and fasteners, or who are able to lean on someone who is, need apply. Even with some extra work, if you really want a Solstice shooting brake, this is likely easier and cheaper than commissioning a shop to custom-build a roof for your. Why Pontiac should come back and how it can be relevant again

When I was a kid growing up in Metro Detroit, our family was always entwined in the General Motors empire. My dad and some of our relatives worked for GM in various capacities, and we had our fair share of Chevrolet, GMC, and even Buick products in our humble driveway. However, it was my Uncle Ed that always had a vehicle from the one GM brand that always appealed to me the most: Pontiac. Seeing him pull up in his Pontiac 6000 and later the '90s era Grand Prix sedan that replaced it was always an exciting occasion, and both of these models also reflected the playful spirit that once defined the Pontiac brand. Back when Pontiac first got its performance groove on in the '60s, names such as GTO, Firebird, as well as Bonneville became iconic nameplates in the broader muscle car era. The '80s saw Pontiac lose some of its styling heritage, but also try new things at the same time including turbocharging as well as the mid-engine sports car with the flawed but still sleek Pontiac Fiero. When the Pontiac brand was shuttered in 2009, it was a mere few years after I earned my drivers license, and also when Pontiac was just beginning to regain some of its lost luster. Granted cookie cutter efforts like the Pontiac G3, (Chevrolet Aveo) G5, (Chevrolet Cobalt) and G6 (Chevrolet Malibu) certainly did not help matters during Pontiac's final years on the market, but two models in particular offered a compelling glimpse into what could've been for the storied brand. The first was the Pontiac Solstice roadster/coupe. Originally introduced as a concept back in 2004, and championed by everyone's fighter jet flying auto executive Bob Lutz, the Solstice was designed to be a serious competitor to the Mazda Miata, and while its interior ergonomics were flawed and the top solution not ideal. It proved to be a fun little car to drive, and also a sales success for Pontiac with initial demand exceeding expectations.This was especially due to its lineup of engines with the 2.0 liter LHU turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 260 horsepower in GXP variants. The second and (inarguably my favorite Pontiac model) was the Pontiac G8 sedan. Originating in Australia as the Holden Commodore VE, the G8 was designed to rectify the multitude of sins created by the last generation Bonneville. Front wheel drive was pitched in favor of rear wheel drive, and for the first time in a long time interior ergonomics and cladding free exterior styling were key building blocks for success.
