I BOUGHT THIS CAR RECENTLY AT A AUCTION, THE CAR HAS LOTS OF NEW ITEMS, THE GLASS , CHROME, WHEELS, TIRES, EXHAUST, MOTOR, TRANS, RADIATOR, AND LOTS OF NEW SHEET METAL, THE CARPET IS ALSO NEW BUT IT WASN'T INSTALLED PROPERLY AND SHOULD BE REPLACED, THE FLOORS WHERE NOT REPLACED THEY WHERE REPAIRED, THAT'S FINE FOR A STREET DRIVER BUT IT DOSN'T SHOW WELL. THE ENGINE IS VERY TIGHT AND HAS A SMALL CAM AND PLENTY OF GOOD SOUND, 4 SPEED TRANS WITH A HURST SHIFTER, SOME OF THE GAUGES DO NOT WORK PROPERLY BUT ALL LIGHTS WORK FINE, IT HAS A AUTOMATIC FAN ON A NEW RADIATOR, THE PAINT HAS SOME FLAWS THAT SHOW UP IN THE GARAGE MORE SO THAN OUTSIDE, IT APPEARS TO BE WHERE SOME TYPE OF REPAIR WAS DONE, THE PAINT HOWEVER IS VERY SLICK NO DINGS OR DENTS. PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR MORE INFO, I HAVE 3 CARS THAT I'M SELLING, TRYING TO RETIRE. THANKS FOR LOOKING.

Watch as Hot Rod goes from El Paso to LA the hard way
Tue, 21 Feb 2012There are few things simultaneously more romantic and idiotic than taking a road trip in a beaten-down heap of a car. Trust us. We know. David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of Hot Rod Magazine fame recently undertook an epic trip from El Paso, Texas to Los Angeles with the express goal of doing so for under $1,500, including the purchase price of a vehicle, food, lodging, repairs and, most importantly, fuel. With this in mind, the duo settled on a 1972 Pontiac Catalina for a lofty $650. Hilarity ensues.
Realizing that no one actually wants a Catalina sulking around the shop, Freiburger and Finnegan put the car up for auction on eBay Motors the instant they had the title in hand. By the time they rolled into Hot Rod HQ, the vehicle sold for a little over $500.
The video is part of a new series called Roadkill that should document similar adventures. Keep your eyes peeled for more calamity-soaked clips in the near future. In the meantime, hit the jump to check it out yourself.
BMX rider flips for wrecked Detroit football stadium
Fri, Jun 12 2015Detroit is littered with derelict ruins. Abandoned automotive assembly plants, sure – but also former sports venues, like Tiger Stadium in Corktown, Roesink Stadium in Hamtramck, and the Silverdome in Pontiac. BMX rider Tyler Fernengel remembers going to see the Lions and Pistons play at the Silverdome in his youth, and competed there in Supercross as a boy. The stadium hasn't been used in years, but now, with his career just picking up, Tyler has returned to film this video – riding through its halls, jumping its stairwells and flipping over its grandstands and field. It's a fitting tribute to a once-great venue of suburban Michigan. Check out the footage in this latest clip from Red Bull. Camaro-based Trans Am SE Bandit Edition borrows Burt Reynolds
Tue, Mar 29 2016For some reason, modifying modern Chevrolet Camaros into the lurching, reincarnated shells of the Pontiac brand is still a thing. If you're the perverse sort that likes this kind of thing, you should check out the latest product from the Trans Am Depot, which comes complete with an endorsement from the star of Smokey and the Bandit, Burt Reynolds. Yes, the new Trans Am SE Bandit Edition has been signed and endorsed by the man himself, but what's important here is not the signature on the dash, it's the bits of Camaro that have been modified. Aesthetically, that means a Bandit-and-Frog-approved set of T-tops, a front-opening hood with a very large, prominent shaker scoop, an equally large and prominent screaming chicken, and Trans Am-inspired front and rear fascias. And naturally, Burt Reynolds' signature adorns the dash. There are plenty of reminders in the cabin about this car's Hollywood inspiration, too. Bandit decals can be found on the front headrests and center console lid, there are chicken wings on the Camaro-spec plastic door inserts, and the black-and-tan color scheme matches nicely with the exterior look. And power? Well, Sheriff Buford T. Justice would have a lot more trouble keeping up with this Trans Am than he did with the original. The 7.4-liter LSX V8 has been paired with a 2.9-liter supercharger which is good for 840 horsepower. It's fast and loud, and even if you can't get behind the look (we can't), at least this Camaro-in-Trans Am's clothing can impress with its performance. The Bandit Edition is limited to just 77 units with prices starting around $115,000. You can check out the official video from Trans Am Depot, which comes with a decent helping of Burt Reynolds, up top. Related Video:
