Here is a real Pontiac 400 Convertible Firebird. This was a Louisiana car and was last on the road in 1976. I have the PHS documentation packet for anyone interested. The car remains in its factory light blue color. The original interior color was white with a white convertible top. The car has its factory wheels on it as well.
The body on this car is very solid. The original quarters are almost perfect as seen in pics. The doors, rockers, and the area between trunk and back window area are all rust free. The floors and trunk pan have been completely replaced with a 1 piece unit. The toe panels in front of the floor pan still need replaced. I have the parts and they will go with the car. The front fenders on the car need replaced as well, which I have 2 new fenders to go along with it. The car will come with its original 400 hood as well, however I would not use it due to rust on the bottom side.
Drivetrain - I do not have the original 400 motor for this car. It will however come with a date correct 1967 YT stamped (which is the correct stamping / code for this car) short block. You cant get any closer to matching numbers than this. It will also come with its factory correct 400 auto transmission.
All four cocktail shakers go along with this car as well.
Additional notes- This was a deluxe interior car along with power convertible top. Car also came from the factory with Power brakes along with Power Steering.
I do not have a title to this car and will come with a bill of sale only.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

A pair of Mitsubishis, the Mazda CX-30 and electric incentives | Autoblog Podcast #673
Fri, Apr 9 2021This week's Autoblog Podcast features Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore and Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski as they debate the merits of the redesigned Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 coupes and whether or not they are distinctive and powerful enough to attract buyers. The duo spends some time discussing ongoing EV and infrastructure legislation before turning their attention to a trio of crossovers. Greg muses about the 2021 Mazda CX-30 before Jeremy talks about the refreshed 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and completely redesigned Outlander. We get nostalgic as we remember the dearly departed Pontiac GTO before wrapping the podcast up by making one more suggestion to a longtime listener who is shopping for a vehicle to replace her aging Honda Pilot. 1939 Pontiac Ghost Car commands $308,000 at auction
Mon, 01 Aug 2011For the 1939 World's Fair, Pontiac built a Deluxe Six bodied in Plexiglass. Part of the Previews of Progress pavilion in which General Motors' Futurama showed off what was to come in the world of autos, the 'invisible' Pontiac is credited as the first transparent car in America. And there were no shortcuts taken with its body: the Plexiglass form was fabricated by the company that brought the material to market in 1933, Rohm & Haas.
The see-through sedan was sold at RM Auctions' St. John's auction in Michigan on July 30, fetching $308,000. Not bad appreciation for a domestic oddity that cost $25,000 to build when new. You can check out the high-res gallery of its innards, including copper and chrome metalwork and white moldings and wheels, and get the exhaustive details on it after the jump.
Junkyard Gem: 2001 Pontiac Aztek
Tue, Jul 11 2017Ah, the Pontiac Aztek. Everyone laughs at the Aztek ... except, apparently, for Coloradans who like to go camping, bike riding, hiking, and all that outdoorsy stuff that folks do in the Centennial State. You'll see Azteks being driven, unironically and without shame, all over the place in the Denver region, and now plenty of them are showing up in the local wrecking yards. Here's a first-year-of-production example in its final campground. These minivans or crossovers (or however the experts finally decided to categorize them) had built-in air compressors, audio controls in the rear cargo area, and other features meant to enhance tailgating, camping, and other activities deemed central to Generation X's allegedly active lifestyle. You could even get an optional camping kit with a tent that attached to the rear of the Aztek. So, it was a General Motors minivan-like vehicle, cousin of the weird-looking Dustbusters of the 1990s, with lots of useful features for those who did more than just commute to work and drop off kids at school. Unfortunately for GM, the Aztek was staggeringly ugly, and Generation Xers were too damned broke to buy new cars in 2001, anyway. I see plenty of them in Denver-area wrecking yards now, along with their slightly-less-offensive-looking Buick Rendezvous siblings, and so I decided to document one before they're all gone.
