This Fiero SE has 76,485 original miles on it. This is a 2 owner car. The first owner had the car for over 25 years and bought it new out of college in '86. It has the 2.8 V6 with 5 speed manual. A/C blows and compressor works but needs freon. Everything else works except the cruise and stock stereo. The engine was professionally rebuilt at 50,000 miles. I have the receipt and it was done right. Engine is solid and runs smooth with no leaks, knocking or tapping. The 5 Speed manual transmission shifts smooth and the clutch is tight. Has new front shocks and brakes. Fluids are all good. The engine sounds awesome with that signature 2.8 growl! Steering and suspension are good. There is no damage on body and it has been repainted. No accidents. Interior is clean with a tear in the driver seat bolster. Headliner is showing its age but is not sagging. Factory sunroof and seals are in excellent shape. The car appears to have never been smoked in as the ash trays and lighter look like new. Has original floor mats that are in great condition. Carpet, dash and rubber around the doors are all in excellent condition. It does have the optional rear spoiler/wing that really gives it a sporty appearance. The car has never been modified and is all stock. Does have the speakers and the factory radio harness intact.
Tires are older with some dry cracks and about 50% tread. Alloy rims are in great shape. Everything in the front compartment is intact including the original spare tire, jack and sunroof wind deflector. Undercarriage is clean and dry. Headlights work but relays for the pop-ups need to be replaced. Its an easy and inexpensive repair. Includes stock Delco cassette stereo but is not installed. It works but has a glitch in it. The car is missing the red "Pontiac" symbols on both quarter windows and the "Fiero 2M6" decal on rear deck lid. These minor pieces can be bought for around $50 online to make the car completely model year correct. Also has original window sticker, keys, 1986 brochure and Fiero manuals. Super clean, classic car that gets good gas MPG! Clean/Clear Texas title, Current registration 5/14 and inspection 6/14.
This is a private owner sale. Please ask any questions before bidding. You can contact me by email or at 214.808.4545

Motorweek looks back at the Pontiac Aztek
Thu, Jul 9 2015The Pontiac Aztek has earned a position as this generation's ultimate, automotive punchline. Even other execrable models like the Yugo or Mustang II probably get more respect these days just out of their sheer quirkiness, but the Aztek remains a joke. Fortify your mind for what's coming, though, because the much-maligned Pontiac might not be quite so atrocious, at least according to MotorWeek's latest Retro Review video. MotorWeek calls the Aztek, "GM's first true crossover vehicle," and it's amazing to think of the hated model as a progenitor of one of the most popular segments today. While admitting that the looks are polarizing, John Davis and company actually come away pleased with the Aztek's utility. They praise that there's a ton of room in the back, and the interior is packed with useful features like a removable cooler in the center console and radio controls in a cargo area. The show is even impressed with how the Pontiac drives and throws around accolades like "nimble" and "pleasant." After seeing the Aztek leading the pack on lists of the worst vehicles of all time for years, listening to it get such effusive praise is actually quite jarring. Could we all be so wrong? No, there's absolutely no debate that this is still a hideous automobile. However, MotorWeek asserts a complete reversal of the generally perceived wisdom about the early CUV. While unexpected, thinking about such an abhorred model in a different way is a cool experience. Check out the video for a different take on the Aztek.
Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.
Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro
Tue, 08 Apr 2014If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.
