This Beautiful 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT was special ordered from Park Pontiac of New Hyde Park, New York in April of 1987, shortly after the vehicle was purchased the car was moved to a summer home in Florida. In 2009 the title was transferred to me (Anthony) so technically the car has had two owners but my Uncle was the original owner.

This car is rust free!!!!!! never driven in snow!!!

THIS VEHICLE WAS HAND SELECTED AND FEATURED IN THE 2013 FIERO STORE CALENDAR (CAR COMES WITH NEW AND SEALED CALENDAR)

Regardless of location the vehicle has ALWAYS been garage kept and waxed monthly with all Griot's Garage products. Paint is practically flawless along with the wheels, interior, and engine bay. eBay charges extra per picture on the listing so if you'd like to see anything specific please do not hesitate to ask (I have HUNDREDS of pictures and videos available).

Most Fiero GT's made in this year came with the GT spoiler, however this car was special ordered without it. Along with this rarity the car is also COMPLETELY ORIGINAL.

As far as the recent repairs, within the last year, this vehicle has received new fuel injectors and new spark plugs and wires (all gaskets replaced during this repair).  The oil has been changed every 3 months (never made 3,000 miles in 3 months).  The A/C blows strong and ice cold.  It has received a new starter as well and fires right up every time.  In addition, it received a new Catalytic Converter about three years ago.  The cat, as well as every other part, was replaced with OEM parts.  Furthermore, THIS CAR HAS NEVER OVERHEATED, or had any major mechanical issues (other than regular service).
THIS CAR HAS RAN PREMIUM GAS SINCE THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR IN 1987.

As far as the interior, it is extremely clean (and ALL ORIGINAL, as well).  The only modifications to the entire car is 5% limo window tint on the door windows and rear window (rear defogger still works) and the upgraded head unit (USB and AUX inputs along with Bluetooth) and speakers.  This audio system also has been wired to accommodate an amplifier and subwoofer (if desired).  All of these modifications were done professionally by local reputable businesses.  At the time of purchase, my uncle also had an alarm system installed with key fobs which still work properly.

Yes, all of these miles are documented AND ORIGINAL.  Any service records and receipts are available upon request.  Vehicle is accident free.  Carfax is also available upon request.  If any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at (727) 743-4916.

No out of country sales.  This vehicle is being sold AS IS, with NO WARRANTY and the vehicle will be held until ANY PAYMENT METHOD clears in full.  Furthermore, buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up of vehicle, but I will do my best to work with your schedule.

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.  GOD BLESS.

General Motors Recalls Nearly 780,000 Cars To Fix Deadly Problem

Thu, Feb 13 2014

General Motors is recalling nearly 780,000 compact cars in North America because the engines can shut down unexpectedly and cause crashes. The company says six people have been killed in crashes related to the problem. The recall affects Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5s from the 2005 through 2007 model years. U.S. safety regulators say the weight of the key ring and rough roads can move the ignition switch out of the run position, cutting the engine and electricity. If that happens, air bags may not work. GM says there have been 22 crashes from the problem. All happened at high speeds. Dealers will replace the ignition switch for free. GM says owners should remove nonessential items from key rings until the problem is fixed. Pontiac Firebird in latest Generation Gap scrap

Tue, 30 Sep 2014

Generation Gap is mining the Lingenfelter collection again this week to compare two very different interpretations of the Pontiac Firebird. An original 1968 example goes toe-to-toe with a 2010 Lingenfelter Trans Am to see whether the old man or the modern re-imagining takes the crown.
Being from the Lingenfelter collection, both cars are absolutely immaculate. The '68 packs a Pontiac 350-cubic-inch (5.7-liter) V8 with a claimed 320 horsepower and some classic, muscular style with a hood-mounted tach. Plus, it's painted in an understated shade of green that you don't usually see.
In the other corner is Lingenfelter's pumped-up take on the classic shape based on the modern Camaro, and this is just one of six concept versions ever made. It wears an eye-catching, vintage-inspired livery of blue with a white stripe package. Under its shaker hood is a 455-cubic-inch (7.5-liter) V8 with a reported 655 hp and 610 pound-feet of torque.

This 1988 Pontiac Grand Prix Daytona 500 pace car could be yours

Fri, Jan 29 2021

Hopefully, the fans of GM's W-body '80s/'90s intermediates can forgive us, but we had pretty much forgotten — or had never really known — that one of the ways that era's Pontiac Grand Prix bathed itself in glory was by serving as the pace car for the Daytona 500. In fact, the Grand Prix paced NASCAR's marquee race every year from 1988 to 1992, and again in 1997, 1998, 2000 and 2003. That first year, 1988, the Grand Prix was all-new, making its debut on the W-body platform. It was also Motor Trend's car of the year. The 1988 Daytona 500 marked the 17th year in a row that a Pontiac was chosen to set the pace but the first time a front-wheel-drive car was so honored. The '88 Grand Prix followed a spate of Pontiac Trans Ams. This '88 Grand Prix, for sale right now on eBay Motors, is presented as an actual pace car, although fans could order a complete set of pace car decals for their very own GP. The pace car is based on that year's top-spec Grand Prix, the SE. In place of the standard car's 2.8-liter V6, however, the pace car uses a modified 3.1-liter V6, which is hooked to a five-speed manual transmission. This Grand Prix is otherwise largely standard fare excepting the roof-mounted light bar, the switches for which are located next to the radio. The mechanical odometer tucked into the digital instrument cluster shows just over 5,000 miles, and presumably, not all of them were acquired on the high-banked oval. With four days to go in the auction, bidding sits at $4,000 with the reserve unmet. Although the reserve is unknown, one clue is that this Grand Prix had been listed by a classic-car dealership in Pennsylvania for $18,500. Besides the debut of the W-body Grand Prix pace car, the 1988 race is also notable for its final lap: Bobby Allison held off his son, Davey Allison, to take the checkered flag, with the father-son duo enjoying a 1-2 finish. Now, who wants to re-live those Grand Prix glory days? Get on your Pontiac and ride!   This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
