1986 Pontic Fiero 2m6 - Great Driver, Low Original Mileage! on 2040-cars
Columbus, Ohio, United States
Aside from the cosmetics, it has a minor exhaust manifold leak. This could easily be driven daily and is a great candidate for restoration and/or an engine swap. It's a blast to drive, cheap to fill up, and gets 20+ mpg. I love Fieros and have owned several. I bought this as a toy to drive now and then, but I have job changes coming up that will require much more driving. Sold as-is, no warranty expressed or implied. I am not a mechanic and have described this to the best of my ability. If you have questions about the truck or you need more information about something in particular, please ask- don't assume something that isn't described. We do not have inspections or E-Check in my area of the state, so I cannot offer any guarantee about whether or not it will pass inspection and/or E-Check anywhere else. Local bidders are welcome and encouraged to come see the car in person prior to bidding. Due to a BMV error (thanks to a clerk chatting on the phone), the title reads "Exceeds Mechanical Limits" but it's a 6 digit odometer and clearly shows 77,xxx. They weren't able to fix it so it's just there. Title is otherwise clear (not salvage or rebuilt). I reserve the right to end the listing early due to local sale. No paypal, cash or certified funds (cashier's check or money order) only to be paid at pick up. The title will be transferred to the winning bidder at pick up and upon receipt of payment. I can assist with having the title notarized and ready to go. No shipping available, must be picked up in Worthington, Ohio 43085 within 7 days of auction end. I am happy to work with a shipper, but all arrangements (including quotes) and costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Bidders with a feedback score below 10 or negative feedback, please email before bidding. Check my feedback and you'll see that I'm honest
about my vehicles and easy to work with. Thanks for looking and let me know if
you have any questions or would like to arrange to see it. Serious bidders are
welcome to call or text (6 one 4) 98nine-7nine12 (I can respond to texts more
quickly during the day due to my work schedule). If I miss your call I'll get
back to you asap. |

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial
Sat, 16 Mar 2013
The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Tony Stewart to star in Smoke Is The Bandit web series
Mon, 10 Mar 2014NASCAR driver Tony Stewart is making good use of his nickname Smoke in new videos inspired by the 1970s classic Smokey and the Bandit. The original is one of the quintessential automotive movies of its era with a fantastic combination of slapstick comedy and great car stunts in a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. If you've never seen it, check it out immediately.
In the new six-part Smoke IS the Bandit web series, Stewart takes on the role of Burt Reynolds' famous character complete with huge mustache. But instead of trying to smuggle cases of Coors beer it's Mobil 1 oil. The series promises to recreate many of the famous scenes from the movie and includes cameos from other NASCAR drivers.
To complete the look, future videos just need a quality replacement for a young Sally Field to ride shotgun. It would also be really cool if Reynolds could make a brief appearance at some point. Scroll down to check out the trailer and the first episode in the series.
