IM listing this car for a friend! 70 Road Runner 383 six pak 4 speed Dana 60 up for auction. # matching engine and trans with a Mopar Edelbrook 6 pak intake,The Dana 60 is out of a 69 1/2 A12 Road Runner.354 gears.The engine runs strong with 60-70 psi oil pressure.starts easy and idle nice,528 lift Mopar purple shaft hydralic cam.Mallory dual points dist.New NOS six pac air cleaner.The air grabber hood is ad on,and needs to be finished.Got all the parts for it, rubber seal, air door, vacum canister and the air grabber swich for the dash.The color is corect and the black hood sripe and hood pins are factory option with the power bulge hood insted air grabber.The car being painted in 1991 with dupont single stage.Needs some tuch up or repaint for show qality.3 spot on the car is need some attention, bottom of rear window passenger side. bottom of right qter and bottom of left qter.Show on pictures.the bottom of the car had media blasted,seal primed and painted with Limco chassy black 6 years go.All the panels are originals on the car.Never ben in accident,all the fraim rails perfect rust and dent free floor pans also perfect condition.The center of trunk pan being replaced before the car had painted.The interior from Lagendary and got replaced after the paint job.with the head liner and carpet. around the back window the headliner needs to be glued back.Suspension and brakes are good shape,drum brakes on all 4 corners.standard no power steering.New Mopar performance super stock leaf springs at back.After the under chassy got painted the stock exhaust pipes never got put back on.Need new exhust.Being a California car this Road Runner is very solid inside out and under.With a minor work can be put back to show car condition easy. '71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for $3.5M [w/video]

We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.

Sat, 18 Jan 2014The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. 'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
