THIS IS A TRUE ROADRUNNER, NOT A CLONE,

RARE COLOR COMBO

B7 METALIC DARK BLUE WITH B5 BLUE INTERIOR,

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION, HIGH BIDDER WINS THE CAR!!!!

Had car running about 3 years ago, was running of a gas can because gas tank needs to be cleaned out, just wanted to see if it ran,

 I did not drive it,

PRIOR OWNER STARTED SANDING DOWN THE CAR AND DID NOT GO ANY FURTHER, HENSE THE SLIGHT SURFACE RUST ON THE CAR, VERY SOLID UNDERNEATHER,

All light and gauges seemed to work, Put it in the pole barn, figuring I would restore it when I had the funds and the time, Now it is up for sale,

Car will need a good amount of restoration work, Lower rear Quarters, Trunk pan, Full drivers side front floor pan, Small patch pan on passenger side, the rest of the floors are solid,

I removed the carb from the car when I put it in storage and used it on something else, I do have a replacement carb sitting on the motor but it is not hooked up,

The Car was original B7 BLUE, With Blue interior, I think it came with a bench seat originally, Has blue buckets sitting in it now, I think They are from a 1974 Roadrunner,

The rear rims and tires do not come with the car, I have rims that match the front I will put back on,

I have a clear title for the car as well as the fender tag, The Title, Fender tag, Cowl, Radiator support numbers all match, Everything on the car matches but the motor,

The motor is a 1968 383 HP motor, All glass is in the car, windows roll up and down very nice, Doors are in nice shape and close very solid,

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
