Well My friends it is back on and the title is now cleared and in my hands. I am selling my project car as i will not be getting to it soon. So good deal for you!  This is a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner (Clone) with a fresh rebuilt 383 Engine. The 383 engine was original with the car just reworked it all at a local machine shop.  Has lots of work done to the engine this year with a cost of 2900 dollars. Comes with what you see in the pics. This car has electric windows, had air condition on it but the compressor was shot so we took all that off. Car has cruise control, has the original 4 barrel and also a new one. Has new air shocks. All the trim work is there but needs installed. No rust on frame but body needs some work. Paint needs sanded out or repainted. has front disc brakes. Original radio and 8 track player. The 8 track player still worked. Electric antenna. Also The transmission worked great when the engine was removed. So this is a good project car and i don't have time to work on it. The vinyl roof was removed as it was ripped. I had plans on just painting the top anyway. the interior roof was removed due to people sticking their cigs in the liner.  So in a nuts shell here it is. Has a clear title and i have it in my possession. Willing to see it go to a good home. Also it was built as a dealer car. the Y13 code on the build sheet lets you know that.

Please be informed!!!!  This is for sale local and can be bought at any time. I have the right to end early if it is sold.

I can not ship it to you. You have to come get it or arrange shipping. I can put it on a truck for you. Only ships in the USA.

Please ask any questions you may have. Its at my shop so any pics other then shown would take a few hours to get you.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
