This car was bought from a retired gentleman in South Carolina that spent much time restoring this vehicle to it's current condition. It turns heads everywhere it passes!! This car is perfect for someone who wants to cruise in comfort & look great! Very clean body inside and out. It is very easy to drive with the 727 automatic transmisson and power steering. It has factory A/C and he upgraded to a Sony in dash stereo with CD; ipod USB; SensMe Channel; 35K colors & flip down face and new speakers. The car is equiped with a 360 V8 Magnum engine; Roller Cam; Aluminum Heads, Aluminum Intake Manifold; Holley 4 Barrel Carburator; Headers; 727 Automatic Transmission; and 8 3/4 Quarter Rear End. The Extreme 255/50 ZR 17 tires are like new with Chrome rims. Since I bought this car I had a full tune up-new plugs; plug wires; fuel filter; oil & filter and distributor cap. I also replace the hood release cable. We had a custom made fan shroud made to replace the exsisting shroud it did not fit the custom radiator properly. Changed the rims out for the original style Rally rims.
Remember this is tht last year of production for the Barracuda. It is the Ebody style and there will not ever be another car like this!!!
THIS IS NOT A RESERVE AUCTION. ONLY SERIOUS BIDDERS!!
The car is at Hodge Mopar Restorations 160 McDowell Rd Inman, South Carolina 29349 this is where you can view the car & this will be the address for pick up or shipping purposes.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
'71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible sells for $3.5M [w/video]
Mon, 16 Jun 2014
We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.
