1971 Plymouth Cuda orig 340, now with a dual carb Hemi, Hemi 4 speed Trans, Dana 60 3:54.  This car has been rotisserie restored and is pretty much flawless, top to bottom front to back everything has been restored or is new.  Car runs, idles. stops, steers perfectly.  All Brake lines, fuel lines, wiring,  etc are new, pedals have even been powdercoated.  I had always wanted a 71 Cuda, since the early 90's when I was cruising down Melrose and I heard a rumbling beast pull up next to me..it was a Black 71 Cuda with  billboards, funny thing is everyone else was looking at it as well ignoring the Ferraris and Maseratis that surrounded it--it was the first time I had ever seen a Cuda and it left a lasting impression on me and the rest of my life I have dreamed of owning a Black 71 Cuda. I finally realized the dream, but unfortunately  its time to let someone else enjoy the car--Working 6 days a week and a newborn baby are making it hard to get to take this car out and enjoy it.  Anyway, like I said the car is beautiful and runs perfect--it has been restored with all the details that a real Hemi car wouldve had including the proper K member and the torque boxes that a 4 speed car wouldve had.  It also has some nice handling upgrades like frame connectors, front and rear sway bars and 4 wheel disc brakes.  If you have any questions shoot me an email and Ill answer them, Im easy to deal with.  Over 100k was spent restoring this car, it has the rallye gauges, front and rear spoiler, houndstooth interior. There is no build sheet or fender tag, but car was orig curious yellow.  I have pictures of all the restoration and the orig CA blue and yellow plates.  The pictures should tell the story.  Also no 10% buyers premium or extra 10k you have to spend to  tune and detail this car---its perfect.

Ive had a few emails if I would sell/ship to overseas buyers?  I am 30 minutes from the ports of Los Angeles and I would be happy to take the cars to the nearby ports if an overseas buyer purchases the car.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
