Up for auction is a Wheelchair/Handicap Accessible Plymouth Voyager Van in great shape with only 51,879 miles on it.
The all around conversion in this Van is designed to allow any Paraplegic or Quadriplegic to be able to drive anywhere they wish to go, be it long distances or short distances. The longest distance I drove with this Van was 2800 Miles from Texas to Florida and back to Texas without any problems whatsoever. This trip was an almost non stop drive which took about 22 hours one way.
The Conversion includes automatic side sliding door, a Ricon Lift with a weight capacity of 800lbs that it will lower all the way the ground, raised roof, 6 way positioning driver's seat that it will raise & lower as far as 11". Just the conversion of this vehicle alone costs around $30,000 and the Van itself is in a very good shape, drives very smoothly and it only has 51,879 miles which puts the Van value without the conversion between $4500 - $5000.
It always has been kept in the garage and it has always been and still is a smoke free vehicle. Just considering what this vehicle has to offer, it qualifies this deal as one of the best ones for the price of $10,990 which will save you a lot of money, (Don't have to pay $35,000 or more.)
This Van has a brand new Air Condition system, brand new A/C coil, brand new 780 watt Battery, new breaks, tires have about 80% life left. Engine is in great condition and sounds pleasing to one's ear.
This Van is equipped with the towing package and the wire harness for the trailer breaks.
The passenger back seat has been removed in order to have more room, but I still have it, and it will go to whoever purchases this nice van. For more information please call or text to 804 878 0582.
Thank you.
Ben.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books
Thu, 25 Sep 2014The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.
Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars
Sat, 18 Jan 2014The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.
