1970 roadrunner clone with a 528 hemi crate engine, putting out over 650hp running on pump gas.The motor and transmission was put in brand new 2 years ago. The fresh blue metalic flake paint job and 17'' torque thrust rims , z rated tires are brand new.The transmission was pro built with a 727 and built to handle over 800hp.It features a manual throttle body which means you can shift thru the gears manually for a quick and powerful launch or just put it in 3rd gear and cruise the highway.I bought the car from pj 's auto museum in clearwater fl back in 2003 off the showroom floor. It had a 440 motor in it at the time. The car was in great shape but I wanted to build the perfect, sleeper so I redid just about everything with the drivetrain and suspension. It has new heavy duty rear leaf springs, heavy duty front torsion bars, frame stiffeners, cutom built headers, and larger fuel lines for the 528 powerplant.I kept the stock 70 roadrunner apperance look with the car and nothing was cut, tubbed, chopped,or gutted from this car.It is the perfect street / strip and show car.Since the day I bought the car in 03 till now,I have put under 500 miles on the car total.I have put over 60,000 dollars into this build, not including labor. The motor alone was 20,000 0n here. The interior was already redone when I bought it at pj's museum and is in really good shape. No tears in the front or back seats and it shows nicely. This car is complete inside and out and is turn key. There is no rust issues on or under the car.You could turn it over and eat off it.I had the total underside painted and sealed with por15 to avoid any future problems ever! This car has been garage kept since I bought it.The torque converter and rear end was built more for the street and drives very smooth on the highway.I had the rear end rebuilt with new stronger axles, ring, pinion, bearing and seals. The car has power steering, air conditioning and power brake asist. It has front brake calipers and drum in the rear. The car has magnaflow mufflers and has a very deep rumble at idle. This car can easily be a daily driver and handles great.. Once you put the petal down and your head pulls back into the seat you will feel and hear the monster awaken, fully understanding the power of the 528 hemi engine! This car is for sale locally and if it sells I reserve the right to end this auction early! any question, you can message me on here or call 941 276 2681. no trades..

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books
Thu, 25 Sep 2014The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.
