Hello, what I have for your consideration is an excellent 1937 Plymouth PT50 Pickup Truck.  There are less than 2000 of these left accounted for.  This truck is in excellent condition.  It drives and rides very well.  The title is clear and in my name.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me.  This truck is finished and is a blast to drive.  All the good cool stuff has been done.  Here is the list of all the work that has been done to it.

Original frame professionally boxed in and a Mustang II front suspension installed.  Adjustable coil overs up front.  Power Wilwood disc brakes.  Mopar 383 big block built very well with nice cam, 4bbl holley carb, headers, ect.  Mopar 727 trans with shift kit.  Mopar 8 3/4 rear end with locker and 3:55 gears.  Line lock installed.  Electric exhaust cut out just for fun!  Everything is wired professinally.  Headlights have Hologen Bulbs for better seeing at night.  Turn signals in bulbs.  4 Core radiator with electric fan.  Trans cooler installed on frame rail.  Leaf springs in back.  everything has been lowered for a very nice stance, but has suspension travel and rides nice.  No scrapes on speed bumps either.  Flowmaster exhaust.  Exhaust exits behind rear wheels and is hidden in the rear fender.  20 Gal fuel tank under the bed.  Body is painted Hot Rod Black and is in excellent condition.  It was painted 2 years ago.  Flames were pinstriped last summer.  Windows are tinted.  Seats are from a Chevy Tahoe and are leather and powered with lumbar support.  Gauges are Stewart Warner and the speedo is programmed properly for these wheels and tires.  Wheels are powder coated red and have Plymouth Division poverty caps.  Running boards are line-x'ed with Plymouth step plates.  2 Storage boxes were made as bed supports.  Front and rear.  Boxes, rear bumper, and grille have been powder coated.  Front bumper is original.  Rear bumper is a modified Dodge Power Wagon bumper.  It has a slot for a hitch.  Tilt and telescoping steering wheel.  Front glass cranks out nicely.  All the windows roll up and down well.  Wood bed is done nicely and is treated lumber.  The bed has hold downs that go through to metal so they can be used to strap cargo onto the back.  Truck has all the proper hard to find emblems and hood ornaments.  Electric wiper that works.
Original seat and frame can also come with the truck in case putting it back to original interior is something you want.

I know whoever gets this truck will be very happy with it.  A lot of hard work has gone into it to make it the way it is.  It is fun, reliable, sounds amazing, rides smooth, easy to drive and has that super cool hot rod or rat rod look.  If there are any questions feel free to contact me at any time.
Thank you for looking at my auction.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.
