THE PHOTOS ARE CURRENT ! DATE ON CAMERA IS WRONG!

I HAVE BEEN USEING THIS CAR AS MY DAILY DRIVER  /  FLY IN N DRIVE IT HOME!!!!!!!!!  NO MATTER HOW FAR U NEED TO GO!!!!!!!!

I bought this car about a year and a half ago. The car needed paint , interior vinyl top. The car runs great, stops on a dime, runs cool even on the hottest days in bumper to bumper traffic.I had the car painted new interior , headliner, seats, rugs, dash pad, seat belts. All the trim was sent out and polished.New oem vinyl top. New trunk mat. New side sport mirrors. 3 inch new daul exhaust and new headers come with the car, they are still in the box never been installed. Also original 1974, 4 bbl manifold, rebuilt carb(still in Box) and original air cleaner come with car. There is only one thing not working in the car and that is the radio, may be due to just no speaker(AM ONLY) the ac works but is blowing warm(I KNOW A LOT OF SELLERS SAY THIS) but when I went to convert the ac I found that every thing was in tip top shape and just about 1.5 lbs low on R12. So I did not convert the AC. just need to find someone with some R12.

The car came from Idaho.Florida title now in my name, low miles are belived to be true but title is exempt.

Rubber trim and seals are in a 1 shape

There is a small chip in the windshield, and a small ding in the rear bumper,

Rear bumper needs to be adjusted slightly, due to health I can not do it.

THIS car hits the road 100per cent, straight as an arrow, this is  not some wavy repainted junk .

Under side , floors ect are 100 percent and original to the car.Last photo is photo of car before restoration.

Due to health reasons, that is why I am selling . No other reason!!!!!!

The car can be seen in person, but you need to call  2 days in advance due to doctor apts.

I reserve the right to end the auction early

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
