1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring. Original a big block 400.  Updated to a 440 6 BARREL with 727 TF.  Rapid shift B&M shifter, center console, bucket seats, and vintage Cragar rims.  Is a Gtx clone. Windows are  tinted and in good shape, with exception of driver side window has chips out of top of glass, seen in photos. Body work is straight and paint is in acceptable shape for not being a fresh restoration. Car is not perfect if looking for perfection. Car would need to be  re-sprayed,  for perfection and a few finishing touch's cosmetically. Car seems to be virtually rust free all  around the  body,  trunk is solid,  interior floor pans are solid and looked to be untouched and original as seen in my video’s. passenger rear below trunk drip rail has slight rust bubbling, expected.  Older Restoration done years prior, but performed with quality in mind. This is a  driver, motor and transmission are dry and in Proper working order. Carbs have been set properly.  Factory 8 3/4 surer grip rear end, front disc brakes, power steering and is a great cruiser! 440 is very strong and FAST, will light up the tires with ease. Interior is also in good shape, as seen in video's and photos.  I have taken lots of additional photos and videos of undercarriage, starting and driving roadrunner.  Hopefully this will help you in making a clear buying decision.

classic car's are always sold as is with no factory or dealer warranty's implied. Please call with questions or to discuss anything, please do not assume anything. Thank you for your time.

SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.
