I have a really nice 68 fury for sale here... lots of money spent on it... runs great...the engine is a 77 block .30 over has a forged mopar crank with aftermarket h beam rods speed pro 10.1 flat top pistons heads are mopar 252s that are an upgraded version of the 906s have been upgraded with larger intake and exhaust valves stainless with heavy duty double valve springs with arp head bolts the camshaft is a hydraylic flat tappet mopar performance 509 lift cam have upgraded with new rocker shafts arms and pushrods new oil pump assembly has a hp 440 fuel pump aluminum water pump billet waterpump and crank pulleys performance harmonic balancer mopar performance single plain high rise intake manifold with 750 holley ultra double pumper and k&a high flow filter and top has complete msd blaster 3 coil 6al ignitionbox and pro billit distributor with msd plug wires headers are hooker longtubes that have been wrapped to keep engine compartment temps down 3" custom magnaflow exhaust with 3.5" slash cut tips sounds bad ass!!!! transmission is a 76 727 thats been overhauled heavy duty clutches and bands installed with a hughes 2100stall torque converter has a b&m megashifter installed rear end is a 741 case 8 3/4 with 3.55s and a powertracks lockright locker posi 30spline axles posi works well :) wheels are 14x6 front 15x8 rear with new bfg rubber front suspension is all new as well are rear has mopar performance rear leaf springs 4 wheel power drum brakes all new with new brake booster and master cylinder has a electric vacuum pump that works great since the large cam eliminates engine from making much vaccum at all aluminum 3row radiator with full time pusher fan and dual internally switched puller fans for when its hot out has a custom built center console with a pioneer deck and fosgate 5 1/2" and 6x9" speakers car could use a new headliner old one has seen better days paint and body work were all done october 2011 engine runs 15-40 mopar oil 7qts |

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books
Thu, 25 Sep 2014The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

We're plenty used to seeing classic cars selling for millions of dollars. It's just that they're usually European: Ferraris, Bugattis, Mercedes and the like. There are some rare American exceptions, usually wearing the names Duesenberg or Shelby. But what we have here is the most expensive Chrysler product ever sold at auction.
The vehicle in question is a Plymouth Barracuda - specifically a 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible, chassis #BS27R1B315367 - that Mecum Auctions just sold after eight solid minutes of feverish bidding for a high bid of $3.5 million at its auction in Seattle, Washington. That figure positively eclipses the $2.2 million paid for a strikingly similar Hemi Cuda (chassis #BS27R1B269588) fetched nearly seven years ago in Scottsdale and another that was the first muscle car to break the million-dollar mark in 2002.
'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
