This is a 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury Convertible. It is offered for sale out of a private collection. It was purchased in 2001 by the collection and has been there since. The car was restored in the early 2000s prior to purchase by the collection. It has just over 63000 miles but exempt in Arkansas because of age.The paint is base/clear and has no issues. The interior is in great condition with a little age starting to show.. The weatherstripping was replaced at restoration and is in good condition. The top was replaced at the time of restoration and is black in color and in good condition. The chrome and stainless are in good condition. A lot of these peices were redone at the time of restoration, but some of the original stainless could use professional polishing. The underside originally came undercoated and still is. It has the correct 265 h.p./ 361 V-8 engine, push button automatic transmission, factory radio, power steering, power brakes, A/C and power top. The cars in the collection are in a climate-controlled building and are run on a monthly schedule, but the car has only been moved around the building for cleaning in the past 13 years. The oil has been changed and the brakes checked for the new owner, but please expect to perform normal maintainence checks before putting the car back on the road for everyday use. The car is available for inspection anytime during normal business hours. You can fly into XNA regional airport, where I will be glad to pick you up to take a look. There are no written or implied warranties for this item. The buyer is responsible for all transport costs. The payment is to be made within 7 days of auction's end and payment must be made with bank certified funds or wire transfer. Payment will be made to the collection name which I will provide to the new owner. Thanks, and good luck bidding.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books
Thu, 25 Sep 2014The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.
SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
