A little history about this great condition, low miles, well maintained fastback( folding rear) and with rare options: From Los Angeles California with blue plates clear title no accidents no rust! 1 owner lady for 40 years ( stored for 10 years) I am the second owner 6 cylinders,  225 with 80.125 original miles, runs strong With factory Rare options: front sway bar 10" rear drums Heavy duty torsion bars 2 Front bucket seats (new matching from legendary) Rear folding seats (original and perfect condition ) Rear 8 1/4 with 3.21:1 gears Sunroof front discs brakes ( new) Factory delete radio Added new Duals exhausts ( professionally done with 2" dynamax) with correct original tips Added original tuff steering wheel ( have original one) Large radiator with shroud 6 blades New and correct black stripes All chromes, taillights, windows, bumpers are in great conditions All Gages working Added sony radio /cd/iPod input ( under dash) added cigarette lighter ( never smoke in) 4 New shocks, all front end replaced ( bushings...) Zero rust well serviced and always covered New heater core and hoses New battery, spark plugs, voltage regulator, new mini starter, adjusted valve lash as per factory spec. New upper ball joint, lower control arms, pitman, tie rod ends, wheel alignment, brake rotors y master cylinders ..... New cover gasket, greased U joints, new water pump,...well maintained! The factory color was green forest, but 12 years ago( Lady first owner) did one repaint ( burst orange ) no fading and shining: Head turner! US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
