Real 1972 Plymouth Cuda 340 V8 Automatic Power Steering on 2040-cars

Hi, For sale is a garage Fresh 1972 Plymouth Cuda 340 v8 matching #'s. The car has been in a garage for over 15-20+ years, it was a restored car when it was put away many years ago. The car runs I have put a new starter, fuel pump/filter and distributor cap and have ran the motor(runs amazingly well). The motor was fully rebuilt buy a very well known motor shop in my town many years ago by the previous owner before being put away in the garage. The car is originally a rare "blue streak" paint style and has many options from the factory. The car is a project and needs a body job, there is bondo on the rear quarters on the passenger side, I tried peeling it off so that you can see it, (the worst spot is the passenger quarter and its about 0.75 inches deep at the deepest point) however the car was stored in a dry garage and there is no rusting through on the panels. There are stickers on the car that it was undercoated several times with Valvoline company so the underside of the car is covered in undercoating which protected the car from being a rust bucket. The floors are solid and many of the features on the car work (lights, dome, light, brake lights, windows roll up nice etc...). This car is a stunning piece of Americana, would be a great project and a great piece worth restoring! I have the title for the car as well as the read chrome and a few other miscellaneous parts. (the car is missing the front bumper, the front grill is broken in half and the rear seat is missing). The previous owner had taken off the chrome to have it redone but never put it back on the car but I couldn't find it in the garage as well as the rear seat. SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own
Wed, 19 Dec 2012Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.
'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.

Sat, 18 Jan 2014The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson.
