1970 Cuda Convertible 340 with 500 miles since complete nut and bolt restoration!!!!!!

Attention to detail screams to you when observing this very rare California Cuda. This Mopar starts right up with its newly built 340 motor, tracks straight down the road, and stops equally as well. The motor sounds incredible with it's deep mopar lope. It includes the following items: power top, fog lamps, ignition buzzer, courtesy lights, am radio, all new wiring throughout, 15 inch wheels and tires, remote control rallye mirrors, bucket seats with seat belts, very nice chrome and polished stainless, space saver spare tire, fender mounted turn signal indicator assemblies, bulge hood with blackened snorkel fins, locking hood pin set, fender well moldings, working gauges to include dimmer switch, under dash and rear seat courtesy lights, very nice front grill with no cracks, side marker lamps, fender tag, rear valence exhaust, and gilled rocker moldings. The body on this Cuda is laser straight with the doors, hood, trunk, fitting excellent throughout. There are a few very small knicks that were touched up as well as two minor spots where the paint has bubbled (in photos and almost unoticable). Color is factory B-7 Jamaica Blue and has a deep clear shine. Purchased 5 years ago from California where the previous owner reported it had lived all of it's life. There are no rust issues anywhere. Go to www.dasautoshippers.com for shipping quote. Car is located in a climate controlled secure garage in Mt Vernon Ohio. Original 318 motor and transmission will go with this sale-already on a pallet and ready to ship at a discounted rate to your door. Only selling to make room for another classic, that's all.

I have bought and sold here on Ebay for over 10 years, all with 100 positive transactions from all over the world. Know your dealing with integrity all costs. Please ask all questions before placing a bid and have funds available for an easy transaction. Since I am not a dealer the Cuda is sold as-is where is. SRT belatedly claims Plymouth Prowler as one of its own

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Before Chrysler had Street and Racing Technology, it had Performance Vehicle Operations. What the two entities have in common, before SRT became its own brand, of course, is that each was created to take Chrysler and Dodge (and Plymouth, before it was unceremoniously killed off) vehicles to the next level of style and performance.
We'll leave the question of whether or not the old Plymouth (and later Chrysler) Prowler was ultimately a stylish, performance-oriented car to you, but the boys and girls currently leading the SRT charge at the Pentastar headquarters are keen to accept the retro-rod into the fold.
According to the automaker, all of SRT's current high-performance models owe a debt of gratitude to the old Prowler, due mostly to that car's use of lightweight bits and pieces and innovative construction techniques. If nothing else, the fact that the Prowler's frame is "the largest machined automotive part in history" is pretty cool. Read all the details here.

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.
