1968 Olds Cutlass S for sale.
Olds 350 Rocket motor has been rebuilt (2011 I was told) 3 angle valve job. 3 speed on the floor has the much sought after #5 Olds heads (best flowing stock Olds heads) mild cam Performer RPM intake Long tube heddman headers 4 barrel Holley double pumper 600. (Just rebuilt with new manual choke installed) New Carb spacer New Water neck and 180 high-flow thermostat New HEI ignition New plugs New wires dual exhaust with tips (newer about 3 yrs old) New springs New custom hurst Mastershift 3 speed shifter and Hurst super boot Holly Powershot air cleaner New battery New alternator New gauges New dash pad New pedals New armrest pads front and back retro radio and speakers installed Myt friends call her the "Getaway car" The car has been converted to manual 3-speed on the floor, has manual brakes, manual choke. Your wife will not want to, or probably even know how to drive it... The body is very solid, no rust except some surface in the trunk. Its in gray primer, pretty much ready for paint.. the interior is all there and is good, front bench and rear is wrapped in a generic smooth vinyl, no rips or tears, looks good. Car runs strong, mechanic just checked it all out and said the motor is strong and in great shape. It literally does not leak anything, brakes -good, clutch -good, tires -good with skinnies up front & wide in the back mounted on aluminum Centerlines. Windows all work. Car has a great stance with the new springs. As all these old cars, theres a few glitches but not much : Speedometer needs to be hooked up, I have the adapter, after the shifter was installed the adapter is needed so the cable can connect to the trans. Also, some wiring issue where when you turn on the headlights the gauge needles drop, im guessing its a wiring issue with the install of the new gauges. Headlights and signals, even the lil olds side lights work. I have nothing to hide on this vehicle, add paint and weatherstripping and this will be one hell of a ride. I have all the emblems for the vehicle and some trim pieces also that will come with the vehicle. Not many classics for this price can you just jump in and drive it down the freeway and actually enjoy it.. trust me i know! **No reserve!! I need to sell so I can buy a place. **I also have a brand new (in the box) car cover and whatever spare parts I have I will throw in if the car is bought at the buy-it-now price. ******The buyer is 100% responsible for setting up and paying for shipping. GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems
Mon, 30 Jun 2014General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:

Thu, 13 Nov 2014The folks behind Generation Gap have lost their minds with this latest video. The goal here is to determine the ultimate family cruiser, but the choices are what you would least expect, with a heavily modded 1970 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser going up against a 2012 Ferrari FF.
You might anticipate an over-40-year-old Oldsmobile to pale in comparison to any modern Ferrari, but this wagon has a ton of secrets under its skin thanks to Lingenfelter. First, it packs a supercharged LS3 V8 with a claimed 650 horsepower and a six-speed manual gearbox. That big upgrade in power is further helped with air suspension and massive Wilwood disc brakes. The result is nothing short of deafening, with blaring yelps whenever the driver even nudges the accelerator.
The alternative sounds just as good, albeit in very different way. The Ferrari's 6.3-liter V12 pumps out 651 hp and 504 pound-feet with a part-time all-wheel drive system. While the FF lacks a lot of the hauling ability of the Olds, it makes up for the deficit in handling, luxury, and in many eyes, simply by having the famous prancing horse on the grille.

The seller claims that this beast has had just two owners and has covered a mere 61,308 miles in its decades on the road. It's reportedly never been restored or repainted and comes with all of the necessary books and manuals. A 7.5-liter (455-cubic-inch) Oldsmobile V8 with a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission powering the front wheels propels this far-out RV, and the double set of rear wheels out back use a self-leveling air suspension to provide a cushy ride.
The purported low miles and good condition really make this GMC a stand out, though. The exterior combination of lime stripes and beige with just a touch of green is like nothing else on the road today. Plus, the polished bumpers and wheels make it all pop. Inside, it's even better with monochromatic green upholstery and shag carpet. It features everything you'd ever need on a long trip, including a bathroom, kitchenette and lots of seating. The only hint of modernization is an HD TV next to the stove, but its size is a perfect fit for the hole there.
