Accessories added are: Custom American Outlaw wheels 16x8 and I also have
stock wheels which are included.. Complete 2'' hitch package.. Front Bull bar

This is one of the NICEST Nissan Xterra's you will find for the price!! I priced it
below what dealers are charging for most Xterra's to save you money
and help me with a quicker sale! The Nissan has always been garaged and well
taken care of, as you can see in the pics!! Oil has been changed every 3K miles
and Auto transmission has been serviced at 60K... Only reason for selling is that
I'm in need of a pick up truck for work!! You are going to get one awesome vehicle
for the money which is well known for many years of reliability!!! Do some research
and look at the reviews on these Xterra's, they are one great all around ride with an
incredible Four Wheel Drive system that can take you anywhere!!!
The only defect I can find is a couple very tiny dings which are common for any
used vehicle.. The Nissan is being sold ''AS IS'' with no warranty since I'm a private
seller.. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours to hold the vehicle
Full payment must be made within 7 days by Cash or Bank Wire transfer before

You can contact me by phone at 860-453-4031(SCOTT) or by email for any questions
** PLEASE** Don't pay attention to the history report rating!! I have the car fax on the vehicle
and after some research, way back in 2006 there was a minor bumper replacement which
unfortunately went down on the report as an accident, which happens quite a bit for
insurance reasons but kills history reports! I can send anyone interested the car fax on
request, there is nothing to hide!!! I believe it should personally have a rating of 98.....
Thanks Scott

Nissan, Toyota offering payment deferments to people affected by government shutdown
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Two weeks into the budget-related government shutdown and it sounds like some progress is finally being made, but that doesn't really help furloughed government employees pay their bills. To help out a little, Nissan and Toyota are joining Hyundai with offering payment deferments to current owners and lessees.
In a release, a Nissan spokesperson said the company is "sympathetic to any of our customers who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances - many times outside of their control."
Both Japanese automakers are allowing payment extensions of up to 90 days without penalties or fees. Unlike the Hyundai Assurance Plan, though, it doesn't seem like the Nissan or Toyota assistance will be extended to those who are still in the buying process. Scroll down for press releases from both companies about their respective payment deferment programs.
Ghosn predicts autonomous cars on the roads by 2018, if laws allow
Thu, 05 Jun 2014Things appear to be going well inside Nissan's autonomous vehicle development program. Until now, the automaker believed that self-driving cars would be ready for major markets like the US by 2020. However, Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn is now speeding up that prediction to 2018 in some places, assuming that local laws are ready to accept the computer-controlled vehicles.
"The problem isn't technology, it's legislation, and the whole question of responsibility that goes with these cars moving around," said Ghosn in a speech in France recorded by Reuters. He predicted that the first sales could begin in France, Japan and the US by 2018 and expand elsewhere in 2020.
The alliance has been among the forefront of automakers working on self-driving cars. Nissan has an autonomous Leaf (pictured above) test car that is licensed to drive on Japanese roads. Renault showed off an version of its Zoe EV earlier this year called the Next Two, that could pilot itself at speeds up to 18 miles per hour, and that the company predicted would be ready by 2020.
Nissan had to re-edit this commercial two times to placate Aussie ad watchdog [w/poll]
Fri, 02 Aug 2013Nissan recently aired a commercial in Australia for its Pulsar SSS hatchback - think of it as a five-door relative of our Sentra - in which a couple is seen hastily making their way to the hospital ahead of giving birth. But the ad you can watch now isn't the same ad that aired originally - in fact, Nissan had to re-edit the commercial twice before the Australian Advertising Standards Bureau (ASB) would accept it.
According to Go Auto, the original ad received complaints that it depicted unsafe and reckless driving, including speeding, following cars too closely and screeching to a halt upon arriving at the hospital. One of the complaints reportedly read: "The advertisement promotes driving behavior (rapid acceleration/deceleration/changes of direction) that is counter to sound medical advice regarding the carriage of heavily pregnant women in motor vehicles."
In the first edit, Nissan lowered the vehicle's engine noise, removed the woman's speech urging the man to drive faster ("Go, go, go!") and inserted a disclaimer that read "Filmed under controlled conditions," according to Go Auto, but all of that still wasn't enough to appease the ASB.
