This 2004 Nissan Xterra SE 4WD SUV is a GREAT car! It is in fantastic condition and has remarkably low mileage for its age (93,800). The tires are brand new Michelins (December 2012), and the headliner has just been replaced (May 2013). The interior is in excellent shape; it does not have the normal wear and tear one might expect on a 2004 model. The exterior has merely a few minor scratches. It has always been a smoke-free car.

I am only the second owner of the car; I purchased it in December 2012 and am only selling because I am moving overseas and cannot take it with me. Which is a shame, because it is a really nice car. It runs extremely well. There was only one previous owner, a woman who used it to carry her supplies for her house cleaning business. It really does not appear as though the back seat or passenger seat got much use - they are in wonderful condition. The A/C is in perfect working order.

The title is clear and transferrable.

I had an independent company inspect the car before I purchased it in early December. You can access their report below. The major issues they found with the car were resolved as follows:

The right front power window switch was repaired by the dealership before I purchased the car.

The headliner was replaced in May 2013 and is no longer falling down.

The other issues found during the inspection were light wear to the seats (normal for mileage), and slight scratches on the exterior.

Nissan recalling 104k Juke models over faulty timing chain [UPDATE]

General Motors isn't the only manufacturer that gets to issue a recall today, as Nissan is set to announce a voluntary recall of the 2011 to 2013 Juke due to a fault with the timing chain. 104,439 units are affected by this recall. The timing chain in some Jukes could deteriorate over time, leading to a warning light in the instrument cluster. In extreme cases, the chain could snap.
Owners of affected vehicles are being notified, and will need to report to their local dealership. The free repairs will replace the timing chain, chain guides and crank sprocket.

Nissan poaches Ram CEO Fred Diaz

Nissan has announced that it has hired Fred Diaz as its new divisional vice president of sales and marketing. With the appointment, Diaz unexpected exits his post as president and CEO of Chrysler's Ram brand, a position he has held since 2009 when the brand was created as a separate entity from Dodge. He was also president and CEO of Chrysler de Mexico.
Nissan issued a press released - posted below - in which it says that Diaz's newly formed position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the brand in the US, including such facets as sales, marketing, parts and service, along with administrative matters. In addition, he will lead Nissan's light commercial vehicle and fleet division, likely a key attraction with his Ram background.
Chrysler has yet to name a replacement for Diaz.

Nissan Pathfinder, Infiniti JX in transmission safety probe

Nissan may be forced to recall 110,000 Pathfinder and Infiniti JX35 crossovers, due to a number of customer complaints. Consumers report suddenly losing power, with repair facilities blaming the issue on faulty transmission cooler line connections. Both the Pathfinder and JX35 use a continuously variable transmission. As of right now, the only vehicles being investigated are from model year 2013.
Nissan has been cooperating with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, according to a report from Reuters, and it has developed a fix for the affected vehicles. It's not clear whether this will develop into a full-blown recall, as there have been no known cases of injuries or crashes. But with a potential 110,000 vehicles prone to sudden power loss, a recall seems to be a likely outcome.
