The paint of the car is wearing off a few little dents like almost unnoticeable. There is some rust in the exterior not much. The interior has a problems like the AC can only be used at max settings the dashboard turns off by itself at random rarely times almost never. The car was used for construction work purposes so its scratched and worn out carpet on the back area. The cruise control does not work or I just don't know how it works tried but no luck..... Also the car leaks in the back door because of rust may need to apply a seal or something to patch it up. The car squeaks when you apply the brakes the first time after a few hours of none usage and when the wheels go over an obstacle tried finding the reason why but I am not a car expert. If there is any other problems is because I have not checked or know. If you don't mind a few cosmetic and electrical not important items in a car then its no problem. The car works great engines is almost quiet no leaks that I have noticed other than water when the AC is on. Think all car do that right? Recent oil and brake change was done to the car This car has not broken not even once since I was the owner I am the 3rd owner I think. Don't need the car any more I need a smaller car. Nissan details Craigslist 1996 Maxima restoration
Wed, 19 Nov 2014"Luxury Defined," in the most ironic sense the galaxy has ever known, is now "Luxury Restored," in the real and incredible sense. Last September, Luke Aker made ads to sell his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE, the YouTube version being a mix truth, bombast, a British accent and a ratchet strap. The ad tickled Nissan such that it bought the car from Akes and made a donation to a charity of his choice. Then they consulted with the citizens of the Internet to decide what to do with it, the final vote being a complete restoration and display at the company's Nashville HQ.
Friends, Netizens, countrymen, the job is done. Nicknamed "Old Glory," comparing the old car with the new is like reading one of those shelter dog rescue stories where the loving family nurses an impossibly cute pup back to health with handheld nursing sessions, baby bottles of warm milk and whispered lullabies. Only Nissan probably didn't sing to the Maxima.

New Nissan Pulsar marks brand's return to the European C-segment [w/videos]
Tue, 20 May 2014Following a small teaser, Nissan has unveiled its newest entry into the hotly contested European C-segment. Making new use of the Pulsar nameplate, it will attempt to take the fight to market stalwarts, like the Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf and Vauxhall Astra.
The new five-door will be built on Nissan's modular CMF2 architecture, which also underpins the Euro-spec Qashqai and X-Trail (known in the US as the Rogue). It's a larger vehicle than one of its main challengers, the Golf, riding on a 106.3-inch wheelbase, which is 2.4 inches longer than the VW. It's also longer overall, at 172.6 inches.
The new Pulsar is a moderately powered little five-door, boasting an engine lineup familiar to anyone that knows the Qashqai. A 1.2-liter, turbocharged gas engine offers up 113 horsepower, while those that need a bit more oomph can wait for the late-availability, 187-hp, 1.6-liter turbo that American drivers will know from the Juke crossover. Diesel fans will be able to opt for a 1.5-liter mill that delivers 192 pound-feet of torque and 108 hp. No surprise here, but continuously variable transmissions are the order of the day.
Nissan Altima and Sentra to get Murano-inspired design redo
Tue, 07 Oct 2014The Nissan Altima and Sentra sedans are both very competent, economical, comfortable and well-equipped ways of getting from A to B. They're also both decidedly boring to look at, which is not a good trait in their increasingly style-driven segments.
To rectify this, Nissan is planning design overhauls for its mainstream, with the Sentra adopting the sportier, Euro-style looks of the Pulsar, according to The Car Connection. While that (sadly) won't mean the five-door Pulsar will come to the US market, fitting the European stylings to the Sentra should go a long way towards broadening the car's appeal.
That parcel of information comes from Nissan design boss Shiro Nakamura, who spoke to The Car Connection at last week's Paris Motor Show.
