This car is female owned and driven. The 94k miles are all highway miles. Car is driven to west side for work each day. It is in excellent condition with only normal wear and tear. Silver with Silver cloth interior. There is an Alpine aftermarket CD/radio with a built in amp and a detachable faceplate. Automatic transmission. Original owner with meticulous maintenance! Car was bought with a maintenance package and was dealer serviced until the warranty was up. Then was serviced at Auto Techs in Bedford, a reputable service shop. Car has newer high quality tires on it. The brakes were also replaced. in addition to the summer tires on the car now, I am also including a set of 4 Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires with the car.(cost almost $800 new) I would estimate that both sets of tires have 75% tread left. Everything on the car works perfectly. No known issues. It has also had a recent oil change. I am selling it cheap for a fast sale. Serious calls only! I am not very negotiable, no lowballers. 2013 Nissan Pathfinder: May 2013
Fri, 07 Jun 2013Despite the snow-capped photos you see here, our long-term Pathfinder has been the subject of some proper pre-summer lovin' here in metro Detroit (we're working on a new gallery). Now that the warm weather has hit Michigan, many of our staffers have eagerly grabbed the keys to our big, brown Nissan for road trips all over the place. And the Pathfinder has indeed proven itself to be quite the worthy long-distance hauler, as editors John Neff and Seyth Miersma have already experienced.
This time around, a couple of our colleagues from AOL Autos put hundreds of miles on our trusty Nissan. And while everyone agrees that the Pathfinder is a solid vehicle for the task of road tripping, there are a couple of specific pros and cons that have been mentioned on several occasions.
2014 Nissan 370Z pricing announced, MSRP reduced by $3,000
Fri, 26 Jul 2013Nissan is up to something. The company announced pricing for the 2014 Nissan 370Z, 370Z Nismo, and 370Z Roadster, which isn't out of the ordinary. What is, is that the standard, hardtop 370Z has received a $3,130 reduction in price for 2014. The upmarket Touring model, meanwhile, has been dropped $2,550.
That means, excluding the $790 for destination and handling, a base, six-speed manual 370Z is only $29,990. That is an excellent deal. Adding an automatic will bump the price to $31,290, while the Touring model starts at $35,270 for DIY shifters and $36,570 for autos. The top-of-the-range Nismo runs $43,020. The Roadster, meanwhile, starts at $41,470.
So what does this mean in the grand scheme? Automakers don't just slash $3,000 off the price of a desirable sportscar because they're feeling generous.Could this be a move to clear out stock before a replacement to the current Z arrives?
Nissan's Ghosn highest paid exec in Japan again, at $10M per year
Tue, 24 Jun 2014Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn is on track to be the highest-paid executive in Japan for the fourth time in five years. Ghosn's salary and bonuses last year rang the register to the tune of $9.8 million (995 million yen), and when stock dividends are added to the equation, the exec's total pay crested a billion yen. That represents a 0.7-percent increase over his pay from the previous year. Ghosn earned an additional $3.1 million as CEO of Renault.
According to Bloomberg, Ghosn's compensation was announced at a shareholder's meeting in Japan, prompting an explanation from the CEO. "I understand the sensitivity of the issue," Ghosn said. "Being in Japan should not be a handicap to attract talent. We need the best minds, we need the best talents."
Few would argue with that assessment, we'd guess, but it doesn't answer the question of whether Ghosn is the most talented CEO in Japan. Akio Toyoda, head of Toyota in Japan, earned 230 yen (though, as a large shareholder in Toyota, Toyoda's dividend payments bring him closer to Ghosn) in compensation while steering his automaker to a profit that was five times higher than Nissan's. Honda President Takanobu Ito was paid the comparatively small sum of 150 million yen last year.
