This is a beautiful truck that I am so sad to sell, I am only selling it because I have to. I love driving it, it drives really well. It is very reliable, I have not had one problem with it at all. No accidents or anything at all. I moved up to Gainesville, FL for school and I drive home to West Palm Beach a lot and to Ocala everyday, so I do a ton of driving and I need to get something with better gas mileage.
There have only been two owners so far, I am the second. Neither of us smoked, so the truck is smoke free.
There are some slight scratches on the front and rear bumpers that should be very easy to fix

It has a lot of work done to it, like it has an aftermarket off road suspension system from PRG Products that specialize in suspensions for Nissan vehicles.
It also has an aftermarket cool air intake and exhaust system which sounds awesome.
It has 18 inch Rockstar rims
It is wired for a sound system, it is set up to easily put an amplifier and subwoofer in it. It has Rockford Fosgate Speakers installed that sound awesome!
There is also ambient LED lighting in the interior
BRAND NEW Nitto Terra Grappler Tires

I will add pictures of the interior as soon as I can!

17 Highway 12 City*

317 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque standard

The largest standard engine in its class puts up some massive numbers: 317 horsepower. 385 lb-ft of torque and up to 9,500 lbs of towing. Toss in up to one ton of payload, and you’re hooked up with a whole lot of options for the day’s doings. [*]

Endurance® 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 engine

Punch the pedal and the exhaust system growls with the massive 5.6-liter Endurance® V8 engine, which features a high-flow intake system that maximizes every heaping gulp of air. With this much power Titan gets the job done.

Lower final gear ratio (3.36:1 – similar to a 4-speed automatic 4.10:1)

Titan’s lower final gear ratio makes climbing a hill a breeze. The system helps increase the engines torque being transferred to the drive wheels, giving it power where it needs it most. Additionally, the lower ratio slightly increases the engine rpm, which helps to keep the engine revving in its ideal powerband, optimizing performance while reducing engine strain.

Electronic locking rear differential

The electronic locking rear differential is ready and extremely able. Flip the switch, and this ultimate off-road feature powers both rear wheels equally to boost grip and keep you moving forward.

Switch-operated 2-speed transfer case 4-wheel drive

At the core of Titan's off-road capability is shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel drive, which lets you shift between 2WD and 4WD instantaneously while driving up to 60 mph. 4WD also includes a low-range 4-LO, for severe conditions that demand control at very low speeds.

Skid Plates

For those rougher rides, the PRO-4X® is equipped with skid plates to protect the oil pan, fuel tank, transfer case and lower radiator.

Fog lights

Titan's fog lights are designed to create a low, wide projection to increase visibility under any conditions.

Front tow hooks

Front tow hooks are as versatile as they are strong. Easily accessible and ready for action, the front tow hooks are a subtle surprise when you need them most.

Lockable bedside storage

Another perk you’ll only find on Titan: a lockable driver-side tool box. Climate-resistant, dual-level, undeniably smart.

Rear Sonar System

Titan's Rear Sonar System beeps when it senses an object up to six feet away, and increases in frequency the closer you get to help you maneuver in tight spaces. [*]

Locking tailgate with dampened assist

Titan's tailgate is secured by a cleverly placed lock and features dampened assist to help reduce effort when opening and closing.

Rear Bumper Step-up Assist

  • Makes it easier to get in and out of the truck bed.
  • Hides under rear bumper when not in use
  • Easy, bolt on installation
  • Factory-installed

Stainless Steel Exhaust Finisher

  • The Stainless Steel Exhaust Finish is eye-catching and built to last.
  • Provides a bold and aggressive appearance
  • Easy, bolt-on installation
  • Factory-installed

Chinese-designed Nissan Lannia Concept debuts in Beijing

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Nissan showed off a stylish new concept car to the assembled crowds of media at the Beijing Motor Show. The Lannia Concept is... well, it's not that easy to describe. It's kind of a sedan, only it looks a bit like a fastback from the rear. But for a twist, it has an ever-so-small rear deck. Regardless of how we'd classify it, it's a seriously sharp piece of styling, thanks to its unique shape and flowing character lines.
If the Lannia's styling appears familiar, it's because we've sort of seen it before. There's more than a little bit of inspiration from the Friend-Me Concept. The Lannia's overall shape is similar to the Friend-Me, while both the front and rear clips look decidedly more production ready. Considering this evolution, we shouldn't rule out a production Lannia in the next few years. And if Nissan's product boss, Andy Palmer is any indication, the new model might not be limited to China.
"It was designed by Chinese, built by Chinese for the Chinese people, and ultimately, for the world," Palmer said in a statement. If Nissan can keep this sharp styling, this could prove a compelling buy in a number of markets.

Poor headlights cause 40 cars to miss IIHS Top Safety Pick rating

Mon, Aug 6 2018

Over the past few months, we've noticed a number of cars and SUVs that have come incredibly close to earning one of the IIHS's highest accolades, the Top Safety Pick rating. They have great crash test scores and solid automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning systems. What trips them up is headlights. That got us wondering, how many vehicles are there that are coming up short because they don't have headlights that meet the organization's criteria for an "Acceptable" or "Good" rating. This is a revision made after 2017, a year in which headlights weren't factored in for this specific award. This is also why why some vehicles, such as the Ford F-150, might have had the award last year, but have lost it for this year. We reached out to someone at IIHS to find out. He responded with the following car models. Depending on how you count, a whopping 40 models crash well enough to receive the rating, but don't get it because their headlights are either "Poor" or "Marginal." We say depending on how you count because the IIHS actual counts truck body styles differently, and the Infiniti Q70 is a special case. Apparently the version of the Q70 that has good headlights doesn't have adequate forward collision prevention technology. And the one that has good forward collision tech doesn't have good enough headlights. We've provided the entire list of vehicles below in alphabetical order. Interestingly, it seems the Volkswagen Group is having the most difficulty providing good headlights with its otherwise safe cars. It had the most models on the list at 9 split between Audi and Volkswagen. GM is next in line with 7 models. It is worth noting again that though these vehicles have subpar headlights and don't quite earn Top Safety Pick awards, that doesn't mean they're unsafe. They all score well enough in crash testing and forward collision prevention that they would get the coveted award if the lights were better.

Nissan Leaf Nismo RC Concept [w/video]

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

Nissan took the wraps off its Leaf Nismo RC Concept at the New York Auto Show more than two years ago. As inferred, the vehicle shares many of its pure-EV components with the production Leaf currently sitting in your dealer's showroom. But don't assume the concept is a placid, family friendly, four-place, front-wheel-drive plug-in for grabbing groceries - the RC (as in "Racing Challenge") is a purpose-built, two-seat, rear-wheel-drive prototype race car tuned for the short track.
The RC Concept is fitted with an 80-kW AC synchronous motor driving the rear wheels and drawing power from a 48-module lithium-ion battery. While the motor and battery are nearly identical to the consumer-friendly Leaf, a sleek full carbon-fiber monocoque body shell and a slew of other enhancements mean the RC is 40-percent lighter, a foot shorter in overall height and nearly seven inches wider than its commuter namesake. Nissan says the RC Concept will hit 62 miles per hour in about 6.8 seconds, top out at 93 mph and run for about 20 minutes under race conditions (it will accept an 80-percent charge in 30 minutes with a quick-charger). Understandably, if a zero-emissions motorsport series comes to fruition, the races would be short and nearly silent.
We caught up with the Leaf Nismo RC concept in Southern California, where we were offered the opportunity to zip it around a tight autocross at the former Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro.
