Up for sale is a 2006 Nissan Titan LE king Cab with a 6 inch rough country suspension lift and aftermarket rims with 35 inch tires. Smoke free and adult driven. It is four wheel drive with the Big Tow Package from nissan. Which includes a hitch, extendable and heated mirrors, and tow mode. The bed has a protective lining as well as a tie down system with moveable attachment points. It has front and rear bench seats in graphite/titanium colored leather in very good condition. Rear seats fold up to the truck for more storage. It has a 6 disc rockford fosgate stereo system from the factory. Everything is power, windows, mirrors, seats, locks. The exterior is smoke which is a beautiful gray color, and is in very good condition. There are only a few cosmetic flaws in this truck. There is a small dent in the rear between the passenger tail light and bumper. There is also a scrape/small dented area above the passenger rear wheel. And the last scrape/small dent is in the passenger front bumper, that is only plastic and can be replaced to new if desired. It has 103k miles and starts and runs flawlessly every time its driven. All components function precisely and the four wheel drive and transmission shift perfectly. Oil maintenance has been performed regularly at 3k mile intervals and both differentials and transmission fluid were changed in the fall approximately 5k miles ago, just before it turned 100k. The Titan was bought in Nevada 2 years ago when I lived there and drove it to New York a year ago when I moved back. So it has only seen 1 winter and the underside of the truck is clean with no rust. It has a warranty that is transferrable and is good until 125K miles. This has been a great vehicle for me for the last 2 years and will provide many years and another 100k miles to the next owner guaranteed. The only reason its even up for sale is because I am moving into the city from long island for work, and its not an ideal truck for NYC. Any questions feel free to message me and I will get back to you or give you my number to talk directly. Thanks for looking. Dave

Ken Block's Gymkhana 8 to feature Dubai Police cars?

Tue, Feb 23 2016

Yesterday we showed you the shiny Ford Fiesta that Ken Block will slide, spin, and hoon through the next Gymkhana video. In case the image above isn't clear, that video will drop at midnight EST on February 30th on the Ford Performance YouTube channel. We don't know all the entire premise of the video yet, but this Tweet from the man himself reveals that the video will be set in Dubai. Block is standing on the Fiesta we saw yesterday, and arrayed behind him are a handful of those famous Dubai Police cars you're probably familiar with. The force has a fleet of sportscars and supercars, and the purpose is outreach and goodwill among its citizenry, not necessarily the pursuit of criminals. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. From left to right, we can see a Maserati GranTurismo, Porsche 911, what looks to be a Nissan GT-R obscured by Block's Fiesta, a McLaren (likely a 650S), Ford Mustang, and a Ferrari 599 of some ilk. Will they take part? Maybe Block will try and run from what might be the most horsepower-intensive police fleet in the world. We'll have answers (and a few minutes of pure Block hooniganism) in a few days. Related Video:

Nissan to make 85% of the vehicles it sells here in US

Fri, 07 Mar 2014

We could be in for a big push from Nissan in the manufacturing realm if Vice President of US Sales and Marketing Fred Diaz has anything to say about it. Speaking to the Automotive Press Association recently, Diaz (above) expressed a desire to build some 85 percent of the vehicles Nissan sells to Americans in the US, claiming it will happen "in the very near future." Nissan has already moved to increase exports of its US-built products, and in 2013, it built just over 76 percent of the models it sold in this market within our country's borders.
"Any issues of us taking advantage of the value of the yen, we want to dispel that," Diaz told reporters, pointing out the contentious issue of currency manipulation. There's also the obvious goal of positive PR - Americans like things made in America, and they like companies that invest in America. Diaz is quick to point out that Nissan had done just that: "While a lot of people retrenched [during the recession], instead we leaned into it and we continued investing and in fact made over $5 billion in investments, bringing a lot of production from Japan to the United States and to Mexico," Diaz said, pointing out that Nissan has helped create 8,000 jobs through its investments.
Nissan runs three factories in the US, two in Tennessee and one in Mississippi. Between the three, production is up 22 percent, while the overall exports from the facilities have increased by 100,000 units, Diaz told reporters.

2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo

Tue, 22 Oct 2013

Michigan is one of those places where we can sub-divide the seasons into good and bad portions, with each producing a noticeable shift. The week prior to my time in the 2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo, it was 65 to 70 degrees and sunny, all week long. Anyone care to guess what the following week was like?
Windy, cold and damp weather typified my week in the Z, with temps hovering around 55 degrees and several days of showers. Yes, I got the first week of the bad part of fall. The Z was hardly happy during its time with me, but we both persevered, and I made a point of sprinting out to the garage anytime the ground seemed remotely dry enough to test this striking two-seater. That enthusiasm waned quickly, though, as the week wore on.
By all accounts, the Z is a car that I should like. It's an uncompromising sports car, but as I discovered during my travels, sometimes a little compromise is welcome, and living with a car like the Z - particularly the angrier, Nismo-tuned model - quickly becomes a case of too much of a good thing.
