YES - you can get a reliable daily driver for UNDER $2,000!!!
This is my 1993 Nissan Sentra that runs/drives perfect! If you're looking for affordable daily transportation that will give you 30 mpg - this is it. I am driving this car 20 miles back & forth to work at 70 mph every day. The 4 cylinder motor runs perfect and the automatic transmission shifts smooth and quiet. The interior is extremely clean and the car has never been smoked in. It has a nice Panasonic stereo w/cd. The a/c was ice cold when I got the car but it's not working now. The compressor was making a loud noise and the bearings in it finally locked up. So, I'm told it needs a new compressor. At this price for the car, I'm not fixing it! Tires are good, brakes are good and the car is very comfortable. She has 143,231 miles - only 7,161 miles per year. That's nothing on these cars. It should go 300K easy. You will easily get your moneys worth out of it.
The paint is not peeling anywhere but the finish is not shiny. If you want the car to look new, a $300 paint job will do it. I have enjoyed driving it every day just the way it is. You can see in the pictures that the front left hub cap is missing. VERY cheap to get another used hubcap. There is a small dent in the left rear in the trunk lid where the previous owner backed into a pole. Easy fix if you ever bother to paint the car. I'm selling it because I have 3 cars and only 2 drivers. My other car is for sale as well and IF the other car sells first - I am keeping this one.
You are welcome to come see and drive the car any time. At this price for a good daily driver - I don't know how you go wrong.

2014 Nissan Rogue gives us our best look yet
Thu, 08 Aug 2013Nissan is reportedly fast-tracking the development of its next-generation Rogue crossover, and judging by this latest set of spy shots, the new small CUV is coming along quite nicely.
To no one's surprise, the new Rogue takes the vast majority of its design cues from the Hi-Cross concept that debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and specific elements like the pronounced wheel arches, angular nose, flat roofline and more stylized taillmaps should make for a Rogue that's far more style conscious than the model it replaces. This stronger design language should help the new Rogue to better stand out in the sea of Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 rivals.
There's far more to the new Rogue than just some swoopier sheetmetal, though. This crossover is expected to be the first vehicle to ride on the Renault-Nissan CMF (Common Module Family) platform, an architecture flexible enough to eventually support a host of new products. As we reported earlier, the next Rogue will be built in the US, in Tennessee.
Watch a Nissan GT-R make up 17 spots on the first lap
Mon, 28 Apr 2014By now, enthusiasts should be plenty used to seeing the Nissan GT-R passing "lesser" vehicles on the road - and let's face it, that accounts for a good 99-percent of other cars out there. But what about on the racetrack, where GT racers are all homologated to the same general specifications and tuned with an eye toward fairer competition?
Turns out Godzilla is just as formidable an adversary on the track, as demonstrated by this latest video. Shot from inside the cabin of British driver Alex Buncombe's GT3 racer during the Blancpain Endurance Series race at Monza, the video shows what happens (or at least happened this time) when a well-driven GT-R is relegated to the back of the grid - even when that grid is populated by the likes of Porsche, Aston Martin, Lamborghini and McLaren.
Buncombe and his teammates in the Nissan GT Academy Team RJN ultimately finished the race in 13th place, but what's remarkable is that they started way back in 32nd, making up 17 places on the first lap alone. Scope out the frenetic action in the video below.
Why China will soon lead the electric vehicle market
Sat, Jan 16 2016China could be the world's largest electric vehicle market by 2020, thanks to significant government subsidies and the major drawbacks of owning an internal combustion model there. The country's populace registered 75,000 EVs in 2014, and sales figures in 2015 looked even better. In a new video, Renault-Nissan examines the trend and why it happened. Chinese cities heavily encourage buyers to go green through vehicle incentives, but they also make it a hassle to be a polluter. In some places, there's a lottery to limit vehicle registrations and alternating driving bans for even or odd license plate numbers. However, these limits don't apply to EVs, and the country's automakers have benefited from the regulations by introducing small, inexpensive electric models, albeit with sometimes hilarious styling. China's emissions regulations will get even tighter in the coming years. In fact, a Honda exec recently predicted the company wouldn't be able to sell any models there without some form of electric assistance by 2025. Get a better look at the country's electric push to clean up vehicle pollution in Renault-Nissan's video. Related Video:
