Up for sale is a 1988 Nissan 4x4 Ex-Cab Pickup Truck with about 178,000 miles on it. I have owned the truck since 93' but now it's time for it to go. Truck is red, 6 cyl with automatic transition. Overall, the truck is in pretty good shape given its age. Little rust, no frame rot, super clean interior, and a strong engine. The good: -NO frame rot -Very clean interior -Good condition paint--there are scratches and some rust spots (see pics and description below) but for an 88' it's quite nice. I would rate it a solid 6.5 out of 10 if a 10 is a new car. -Chrome bumpers--both front and rear -Updated wheels -Heat works The bad: -Rebuilt title--I did all the work to fix it back in 93' (yes, that long ago!). Truck was hit on the driver's side. There was no frame damage which was the main reason why I went through all of the work to fix the truck . You would have no idea its a salvage title by looking or driving it. It was my daily driver for years. -Rust on rear arch of pass side, minor bubbling on the top of the driver's side front fender, various scratches and small dents here and there. -Needs Battery -A/C is broke -Needs Muffler -Minor tire cracking on outer walls due to being stored but tread is still at least 50% and definitely ok to drive on Feel free to call me to ask more questions about the truck. Nissan reveals NP300 Navara pickup, is it the next Frontier? [w/videos] [UPDATE]

After plenty of teasing, Nissan has finally revealed the NP300 Navara pickup, previewing America's next Frontier. Now, before we dive into all the info on this new midsize pickup, it's important to note that we don't quite have the official details on the American-spec truck, so there's quite a bit of information here that might not carry through to the North American market.
Depending on the market, the Navara will offer either a four-cylinder diesel or a four-cylinder gas engine, both of which displace 2.5 liters. Nissan claims both engines have been improved, with the oil-burner producing 188 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. There aren't specific figures on the gas engine, although we should expect that it will see a nice bump from the current Frontier's four-cylinder, which offers up 152 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque. It's not clear if a V6 will be available in the US, as there's no mention of it in the Navara's literature.

Fri, 03 Oct 2014Daimler and Renault-Nissan said Friday the automakers have expanded their four-year-old alliance to include putting a Renault diesel in the Mercedes C-Class, a Mercedes gasoline engine in an Infiniti and possibly will involve automated driving technologies in the near future. At a joint Paris Motor Show press conference dubbed 'The Carlos and Dieter Show' by European media, Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn and Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche said the alliance between the automakers is running strong and will expand into any area that makes financial sense for both companies.

Daimler and Renault-Nissan began their partnership in 2010 with plans to collaborate on three projects. They've since expanded that and are working on 12 projects together, including building a joint plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Renault-Nissan and Daimler are launching their first vehicles developed together from scratch: the Renault Twingo (which went on sale in September) and the new Smart Fortwo and Smart Forfour, which go on sale in November.
Nissan teases new pickup again, this time with video
Wed, 04 Jun 2014It was just yesterday that we were presented with our first teaser image of Nissan's new midsize pickup, ahead of its June 11 debut. Today, we have video of what is most likely the next-generation Frontier.
It does reveal a skosh more of the truck than the teaser, focusing on the grille, which should follow Nissan's familial pattern. There's also plenty of footage of the new truck in action, as well as a tiny glimpse of the cabin, which shows (we're guessing) an information display in the instrument cluster.
