I think I am the 4th owner of this truck . When I bought it 3 years ago, the motor had a bad lifter that was knocking. I had the engine disassembled and fixed, and while they were in there, they put in new rings and timing belt. That was less than 3,000 miles ago. We think the mileage at 65K is accurate. Last week, I took it in to have a rusted brake line replaced, and the mechanic called to ask if I wanted to spend money doing that, since it won't pass the next inspection in December because of the extensive rust on the frame. But other than that brake line, it runs and drives; however, the mechanic says it may be unsafe to drive since the frame is so rusted. The 4WD works fine and I have used it as a wood gathering and fence building truck around the farm for the last 3 years, and quick trips to the dump. The truck is available for pick-up in Holiday, PA, outside Wellsboro, PA. or can be delivered on the mechanic's rollback for $6.00 a loaded mile. 2014 Rogue kicks off production as 10,000,000th Nissan built in Tennessee

But Nissan has just announced a double-whammy: Not only has Nissan's assembly plant in Smyrna, TN, just built its ten-millionth vehicle, but that ten-millionth vehicle just so happened to be the first Nissan Rogue to be built in the United States.
The milestone arrives after over three decades of production that has included such nameplates as the Sentra, Altima, Maxima, Leaf, Pathfinder, Infiniti QX60, Xterra, Frontier, and now the Rogue. The latter crossover has swelled into Nissan's second best-selling vehicle, with demand growing by nearly 50 percent from 2010 to 2012. Now redesigned for 2014 and built locally, Nissan is evidently banking on demand continuing to rise.

MITSUBISHI OUTLANDER: Some cars show up on buyers' radar, some don't. Some aren't anywhere near the radar room. Mitsubishi's Outlander is one of those. But that doesn't diminish its basic attractiveness, especially for young families looking for an affordable three-row SUV with responsive power and competitive features. Add one of the industry's longest warranties and a compelling deal, and you suddenly have reason to track down a Mitsubishi dealer. THE DETAILS: It couldn't be simpler – negotiate your best deal on a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander, and then receive a $2,000 rebate; on a remaining 2016, it's $3,000. Nissan details Craigslist 1996 Maxima restoration
Wed, 19 Nov 2014"Luxury Defined," in the most ironic sense the galaxy has ever known, is now "Luxury Restored," in the real and incredible sense. Last September, Luke Aker made ads to sell his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE, the YouTube version being a mix truth, bombast, a British accent and a ratchet strap. The ad tickled Nissan such that it bought the car from Akes and made a donation to a charity of his choice. Then they consulted with the citizens of the Internet to decide what to do with it, the final vote being a complete restoration and display at the company's Nashville HQ.
Friends, Netizens, countrymen, the job is done. Nicknamed "Old Glory," comparing the old car with the new is like reading one of those shelter dog rescue stories where the loving family nurses an impossibly cute pup back to health with handheld nursing sessions, baby bottles of warm milk and whispered lullabies. Only Nissan probably didn't sing to the Maxima.
