UP FOR BID: 1985 Nissan 720 Sport Truck (ST). Very original ST pickup including the ST wheels and steering wheel. Newer paint. Good glass. Tight sliding back glass. Cold air, electric windows, ST sun roof. Diamond plate tool box. No rust. Recent stereo, ball joints, tie rods, drag link etc..., tires, radiator, water pump, alternator, head gasket, plugs/wires, cap, rotor, all clutch hydraulics. Still runs good with good oil pressure. This is the tenth 720 I've owned and this one is by far the straightest, cleanest one I've had. I have another project to fund so this little girl is up for grabs. Vehicle is for sale locally so the right to end the auction early is reserved. Winning bidder is responsible for all transport costs. Club to restore amazeballs Datsun Safari Rally Z
Sun, 15 Sep 2013Thanks to the Nissan Restoration Club, a legendary rally car is coming back to life. At the recent Nissan 360 media event, the Japanese automaker announced that its restoration club is bringing the Safari Rally Z back to original running condition. A variant of the Fairlady Z (or Datsun 240Z in the US), the Safari Rally Z has a fastback coupe body and a 215-horsepower inline-six engine. It won East African Safari Rally championships in both 1971 and 1973. The restoration is scheduled for completion this December.
Formed in 2006, Nissan's Restoration Club is comprised of 60 volunteer members who are passionate about Nissan's historic racecars. The club's past restoration projects include the 1964 Skyline racecar and 1947 Tama electric vehicle. In case you forgot, the Dubai Police supercar fleet is the coolest
Tue, Feb 10 2015Ever wonder why the Dubai Police have a fleet of vehicles worth millions and millions and millions of dollars? Why it has a Bugatti Veyron and a Bentley Continental and a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with sirens and light bars? Well, here's the reason. This video shows the fleet on display on the Emirate's roads and highways, while also reaching out to the people the police are meant to protect. It's an impressive display of machinery, to be sure. Alongside the Bentley, Bugatti and Mercedes, we spy a Ferrari FF, a Brabus G-Wagen, a BMW M6, a Nissan GT-R, an Audi R8 and a McLaren MP4-12C (although the latest Dubai Police car, the Lexus RC F, is absent). The video even has a very cinematic look and feel to it, which works well with the night scenes and the blues-and-twos of the exotics cruisers.
