This car is a dream to drive, getting in it is like stepping into a Jet Fighter. The steering wheel and driver seat automatically open up for easy access when you open the

door, and then move you in close when you start it! So cool. At 292 HP this car goes FAST, and the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) means no loss of power from shifting

gears when accelerating. It's got above and beyond the best power steering I've ever experienced, with 19" rims, sports tuned suspension, heavy tint, 3M clear shield invisible

bra, 3M Scotchgard, smoked head/tail lights, and heated steering wheel to boot! The premium Bose sound system is incredible, tons of bass volume while retaining clarity and

avoiding "woofiness". iPhone integration and hands free calls controlled by buttons on the steering wheel is great, and rear view camera with guide lines makes parallel parking

a breeze. The extended warranty is still in effect, purchasing that for an additional amount is an option. Currently it has Florida plates. Only minor cosmetic damage, some

scratches on the bumpers and rims, a few small scratches in the leather, some corrosion on the battery terminals, and one small cigarette singe (only discoloration - it does

NOT smell like cigarettes - has only been smoked in on a few occasions) on the passenger side ceiling upholstery. Additional Features: Audio/Video Input Auto Dim Rearview and

Exterior Mirrors Carpeted AND All Weather Floor Mats Memorized Exterior Mirror/Driver's Seat/Steering Wheel Settings Premium Leather Seating Rear Spoiler Reverse Tilt Exterior

Mirrors Satellite Radio Steering Wheel Transmission Control (Paddles for Simulated Gear Ratios) Xenon High Intensity Discharge Headlights Sunroof A/C ice cold, All scheduled

maintenance, All records, Excellent condition, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Looks & drives great, Mostly highway miles, Must see, No accidents, One owner. Title in hand,

no liens.

Watch Nissan prank unsuspecting test drivers with GT Academy

Mon, 03 Nov 2014

Nissan's reality show/motorsports program, GT Academy, is set to return to Spike TV for its fourth season on Friday, and in anticipation, the Nismo team has issued a new video that gives some of its fans a taste of the racing lifestyle.
It all starts innocently enough, with fans test-driving a 2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo, only to have a sudden stop quickly transforms things into something a bit more exuberant and special. We won't spoil the details, so take a look at the video for yourself, and then head into Comments and let us know what you think.
GT Academy will air on Spike TV, Friday nights at 11:30 PM Eastern.

Convocation of eagles takes over bed of Nissan pickup

Mon, 13 May 2013

Let this be a lesson to those of you who plan to visit Unalaska, Alaska (yes, it's a real city on Unalaska Island in the Aleutian Islands): If you park at Safeway with a garbage bag full of fish fillets in your pickup's bed, the eagles will find you. That's what happened above when an unidentified man parked his Nissan and returned to find a convocation of bald eagles feasting on his fish.
Neither the man nor those parked near his truck could get to their cars for fear of getting a beatdown from The 'Murica Bird, and police were called to break it up, which they did with neither beast nor fowl injured in the process.
Other than being awesome watching, other things we can take away from this video are the question who comes up with bird gathering names (a "murmuration" of herons and an "unkindness" of ravens?), and the bounty of this comment left by user "Abraham" at the KUCB news report: "It's just that the luxury edition has so much more eagle, it saddens me to think of you missing out." See what caused it all in the video below.

Renault-Nissan zero-emissions car sales whir past 100,000 [w/video]

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

The electric vehicle has gone gold at Renault-Nissan, clocking 100,000 sales in a three-year period that began with the first Nissan Leaf being sold in Silicon Valley, California in 2010. Since then, the Leaf has become the EV champion of the world, selling more than 71,000 units so far, the majority of those in the US. The 100,000th EV sold by the Alliance was also a Leaf and also sold in the US, but on the other side of the country, in Georgia.
By comparison, Renault has sold 30,000 electric vehicles since late 2011, looking after other segments of the EV market with the Kangoo Z.E., Zoe, Twizy and Fluence Z.E. The alliance estimates that its efforts have been driven 5.2 million ion-powered miles and saved 14 million gallons of oil since they appeared. For a bit of sobering context, the US averaged 18.83 million barrels of oil per day in 2011, which is almost 791 million gallons. Per day.
So we're getting there, albeit slowly. Quietly. There's a press release and a video below with more details on the achievement.
