 The 3.5 Liter Maxima V6 is legendary for it’s reliability. This car has been meticulously maintained since my elderly father bought it new. When he bought a new car, it passed to me, and I had all factory recommended service performed, just like he taught me. The only reason I’m selling is because Dad bought another new car, so…great car for you!

The car got four new Dunlop Signature tires in May of 2012, and they have plenty of tread remaining. The tires have been rotated every other oil change (6,000 miles.) The car tracks true and straight down the highway. The alignment was checked about 60 days ago. (It was already true to spec.)

The 5 speed automatic (shiftable) transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, and has been properly maintained. The engine starts right up and runs perfectly.

The seam on the driver's seat is beginning to separate. The upholstery on the driver's seat and the passenger seat is worn. There is a zig-zag scratch on the roof. The outer layer of paint is rubbed down on the front, driver's bumper. There is a small dent above the wheel on the passenger side.

This car has been driven mostly on the highway, as my daily commute is 84 miles round trip. It has never left me stranded. All the power options work as new. There are no warning lights lit. The car uses no oil. The seats and paint have a few minor blemishes, less than expected on a car of this year. (see pictures) Other than these minor imperfections, the car is like new.

The car has leather interior, dual climate controls, heated seats (individually controlled) and a moon roof. The driver’s seat is 8 way power adjustable, and it remembers the settings for two people. This vehicle has High Intensity Discharge headlights. It also has a Bose sound system.

You can take delivery of this car and drive it to California with confidence. And you’ll do it in luxurious comfort while getting 26 miles per gallon.

2014 Nissan Leaf named overall cleanest car in US

A research firm has named the zero-emission 2014 Nissan Leaf the cleanest production vehicle in the US, and that's figuring in the full, wheel-to-well lifetime impact of the car on the environment. The Automotive Science Group (ASG) studied more than 1,300 automobiles with at least four seats across nine categories, measuring everything from the amount of fuel needed to run the car during its lifetime to the extraction of natural resources to build the thing in the first place to end-of-life processing. ASG calls the process "wildly complex." The battery-electric Leaf, with its 84-mile single-charge range, took top honors overall, but there were other highly ranked vehicles in different categories. ASG also said that the Mitsubishi Mirage, with its sub-2,000-pound curb weight and 40 miles per gallon fuel economy, was the cleanest among gas-powered vehicles, while the Chevrolet Spark had the lowest cast of ownership over five years. Last month, the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) put together its annual "Greenest" and "Meanest" (notice: we didn't say "Cleanest") lists and put the Leaf at number three. Topping that list was the Smart ForTwo ED battery-electric, but that was followed up by the Toyota Prius C compact hybrid, so fans of those vehicles can now start a healthy debate. The ACEEE uses data from the Environmental Protection Agency and California Air Resources Board to compile its list. We have ASG's press release below. Nissan 'Ride of Your Life' campaign turns an Altima into a race car [w/video]

Nissan definitely makes some exciting vehicles. The GT-R has received continuous improvements to keep it at the head of the pack in the performance car world. And the Leaf might not bring driving intensity, but its technology is quite impressive. However, there is nothing especially thrilling about the Altima. Granted, it races in the Australian V8 Supercars series, but that car really only shares its basic shape with the production version. So it may see surprising that the Japanese automaker is hoping to inject some drama into its midsize sedan with its new Ride of Your Life ad campaign.
The project is pretty clever. Nissan invited several people to the Horse Thief Mile circuit at Willow Springs Raceway for a ride in an Altima racecar. After a few laps with a professional driver around the course, they pulled into the pits, and the passengers got a big surprise. We won't spoil what happens for you. The concept is somewhat similar to Toyota's thrill ride ads for the Camry last year. Both promotions try to show that that these four-door, family sedans can be more than just boring transportation. Nissan's commercials will begin airing on TV soon. The automaker hopes to excite potential Altima buyers ahead of its upcoming national sales event.
