For sale is a 2004 Nissan Maxima SL in excellent condition. This car has high mileage but has been maintained quite well.
The car shows little signs of aging other than your normal wear on the dash and steering wheel.
The car does have a new 5-speed automatic transmission. I have all receipts for the work proving that it was done. The total for all of the work was well over $2,000.
The car was purchased for $6,000 from a lady who drove the interstate daily from Tryon to Asheville NC. She took the interstate up until she hit Asheville city limits. With that being said, the only mountains this car has seen is from myself driving it. I bought it at 206,000 miles, it now has 209,000. So I have put about 3,000 miles on the car. It is also driven daily so miles will increase slowly.
I can provide mechanics number and information who installed the transmission and worked on the car. When he had it on the lift, I had him check out everything to make sure the car was solid. He said that he'd "never seen a car with this many miles, be so solid." He is a certified autotech who used to work at a dealership until eventually he was forced to move away, and from there start his own shop.
The car was originally intended for my fiance to drive but she does not like it. We do not have kids or a family to lug around therefor we do not need a family car. So because of this, I am going to give her my car and purchase something I can enjoy until we do grow a family.
The car is quite loaded. It has every option except for a navigation. Here are a few.
-Telescopic Steering Wheel
-Heated Passenger and Driver Seats
-Heated Steering Wheel
-Power Driver and Passenger Seats
-Memory Driver Seat
-Slap Shift or Sport Shift Option
-Steering Wheel Radio Controls
-Sun Roof
-Electric Windows
-Automatic Folding Side Mirrors
-Compass
-Garage Door Opening Settings
-Gas Mileage and Fuel Amount Readings
-6 disc CD Changer (No Auxilary Port)
-Adjustable Vehicle Settings (you can adjust how sensative the automatic headlights are, all the way down to whether or not your seat and steering wheel move to let you get in, then move again once you are settled.)
-High Intensity Discharge Headlights with Projector Style Headlight Casing (Incredibly bright at night)
And much, much more.
The leather is practically flawless. There are a few little rub marks on the back seat from car seats being placed in by previous owner. As well as normal wear on the dash and steering wheel around buttons.
This car is incredibly safe and dependable. I have put in all of the money to make it safe for a fiance who no longer wants it. I have included everything I can thing of about the car.
Flaws with the car:
-There is a clip missing from the drivers side flip down mirror. The mirror still works fine. It doesnt fall or vibrate. It just doesnt snap into place.
-There is no key fab for keyless entry. The lady dropped it in her driveway and then ran it over. You can get one on ebay for less than $10 with a free program.
-The new tranmission has a faint humming sound between 30 and 40 miles an hour. ONLY when you are touching the gas can you hear it. My mechanic said it is something that could eventually go away however, it is very quite and not noticable. Especially if you have to radio on. This does not effect performance or driveability. This is not a problem with the transmission. This is just something that is how it is. Not an issue demading any form of repair.
All flaws are cosmetic and in need of no repair. This car is extremely solid, fuel efficient, and quick.
If you would like to make an appointment to see the car, please text or call me at (828)-577-nine31nine. Ask for Kline.
Shipping is available at the buyers expense and arrangment. I understand that there is a bidding system that ebay has for shipping? Im not too sure. I am willing to work with buyer as best as I can. Call Text, or message me through ebay with questions or for more pictures. The Blue Book value for this car is right around $5,700 with this amount of miles. However, this car has a $2,000+ new transmission that will alow this car to go for another 100,000 miles.
Don't miss out on this deal! This car was bought and repaired for the love of my life, therefor, it is DEPENDABLE and SAFE.
Please ask any questions you may have!
Thanks for looking and God bless!

Nissan ZEOD RC finds nothing but trouble at 2014 Le Mans
Mon, Jun 16 2014Audi came away a big winner at this year's Le Mans competition, but Nissan has at least one thing to celebrate. The Pyrrhic victory apparently presages Nissan giving up on the gas-electric race car for Le Mans 2015. Before the race this weekend, the prototype ZEOD RC hybrid race car was doing quite well. In fact, given the way things turned out, Nissan's keen to mention that team engineers managed to get the car to complete a lap on electric power and hit a target speed of 300 kilometers per hour (186 miles per hour) on the Mulsanne Straight during testing. ZEOD RC stands for Zero Emission On Demand Racing Car. "The race was obviously very disappointing" – Wolfgang Reip Things didn't go so well once the real race started. The problem for the Deltawing-esque prototype – which is powered by a 1.5-liter gas ending putting out 400 horsepower and a pair of 110-kW electric motors – was that something broke in the transmission after just 23 minutes and five laps. Driver Wolfgang Reip put his best spin on the hybrid's collapse: "The race was obviously very disappointing but having got a taste of Le Mans now, I can't wait to get back." If Reip does return with Nissan, it will likely be in a more traditional Le Mons racer. The ZEOD RC was part of the LM P2 class, but Nissan says that, "For Le Mans 2015, Nissan will return to the LM P1 class." You can watch the full warm-up electric lap in a video below. Nissan ZEOD RC heroic electric lap followed by heartbreak Amazing morning warm-up result after all-nighter by crew "New tech" car halted by "old tech" issue Nissan breaks new ground in electric vehicles LE MANS, France – Nissan's assault on the Le Mans 24 Hours may have ended early, but the revolutionary Nissan ZEOD RC electric prototype still leaves Le Mans having reached its historic goals of hitting 300 km/h on the Mulsanne Straight and recording a complete lap of Le Mans on electric power only. The unique prototype – which features both internal combustion and electric power sources – reached its first target during Thursday night qualifying when Satoshi Motoyama exceeded 300 km/h before the first chicane on the Mulsanne Straight. Nissan's other key goal was to complete an entire 8.5-mile lap of Le Mans on pure electric power. GT Academy winner Wolfgang Reip was at the wheel when the team achieved this goal during the morning warm-up.
Nissan e-NV200 EV charges into Tokyo
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Nissan has already shown its e-NV200 in Detroit and Frankfurt in conceptual form, now its home market is getting an up-close look at the production all-electric compact van at the Tokyo Motor Show. While it doesn't sound like the e-NV200 will be making its way to the US anytime soon, it will go on sale on sale in Europe in the middle of next year and in Japan by early 2015.
The electric NV200 will be built in Barcelona, Spain, and while that EV-minded city has committed to using the van for public transportation, Nissan's hometown of Yokohama, Japan will also put the zero-emission vehicle to work in its public services fleet. Nissan has yet to reveal the production specs for the e-NV200 - including range - we do know that it will share much of its drivetrain with smaller Nissan Leaf. Check out the press release posted below for more information about the e-NV200 and Nissan's EV efforts in Yokohama.
MotorWeek proves '90s were awesome with Supra, Stealth, RX-7, Corvette, 968, 300ZX comparo
Thu, 24 Jul 2014Oh, the heady days of 1993, back when the Clinton Presidency was just getting underway, and it seemed like every hot new rock band was coming out of Seattle. Sports cars in the US had finally shaken off the shackles that slowed them during the '70s and '80s, and you could buy any number of legitimately quick vehicles again. MotorWeek recently went digging into its archives to find this six-model test from 1993 showing off some of the best semi-affordable performance coupes that money could buy at the time, and it's priceless.
Featuring the 1994 model year Toyota Supra in twin-turbo guise and MY 1993 versions of the Porsche 968, Nissan 300ZX TT, Mazda RX-7, Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo and Chevrolet Corvette LT-1, MotorWeek definitely covered all of the bases. One thing that might surprise younger readers is these cars' performance. The video only provides 0-60 acceleration times, but several of these vehicles would still be considered pretty potent today - over 20 years since going on sale. The Supra is especially impressive, hitting 60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds. Even today, that's nothing to sneeze at.
Given their performance potential and still-attractive looks, it's amazing that some of these coupes are old enough to drink now. The progress of interior design and safety equipment in the intervening years is pretty shocking, though. In most of these models, having two airbags is touted as a big deal. Scroll down to watch a Throwback Thursday blast from the past about some of the '90s best sports cars.
