1995 Nissan Maxima Gxe Sedan 3.0l - Very Clean, One Owner, No Rust! Low Reserve! on 2040-cars
Spring Hill, Florida, United States
This is a well cared for 1995 Nissan Maxima, in very good shape for its mileage. It is a one owner vehicle, owned by us its entire life. The car has always been in Florida and has practically no rust, even underneath, as is visible in the photos. The interior is very clean and has no major stains or damage. The cloth seats are in great shape and all of the leatherette and plastic is in good shape.
The car starts and runs very well, has a new battery, and has recently had a fuel injector replaced. The car does have a few issues: it need a new water pump, and will eventually overheat after several miles of driving. It works great otherwise, we simply have not done this due to no longer needing the car. Additionally, the tachometer only shows the correct RPM intermittently. While the engine revs normally, the dial simply sits at 6000 and will occasionally jump around. The car also has some suspension clunks, normal for a car of its age/miles, it rides smoothly but can be heard going over speed bumps. The automatic transmission is smooth and shifts with no problems. The air conditioning blows strong and cold and the heat works as well. All power locks and windows work without issues. The vehicle has an aftermarket Sony stereo head with a CD-player in the trunk, and the cassette deck can be used with an adapter to play from your phone/iPod/mp3 player. All four windows have wind guards. |

Watch this Nissan GT-R Nismo attack the 'Ring
Wed, 04 Sep 2013Following yesterday's spy photos of the Nissan GT-R Nismo at the Nürburgring, we've been informed that some intrepid spies have captured video of Super Godzilla lapping the track. We aren't sure which turn the first clip is showing, but the second and third are almost certainly the tough right-hander known as Bergwerk.
Like the current GT-R, the Nismo, even with what might be a new exhaust system, isn't a vehicle that sounds particularly good in a flyby. It's more of just an intense whooshing noise. Take a look at the full video from RSR Nürburgring down below.
Teen attempts car jump, hits windshield and lands on his feet
Tue, 11 Jun 2013I've been compelled to do many things in or around a car, but jumping over one has never quite made the cut. That may be because I have all of the vertical lift of a manatee, but I digress. One enterprising young soul recently looked at a friend's Nissan Sentra and thought, "You know, I can totally leap right over that roof line."
By using what can only be described as Herculean feats of persuasion, he talked one young female friend into driving said Nissan straight for him at around 40 miles per hour while another stood by to film the lunacy. The plan went swimmingly right up until our would be compact-vaulter caught his foot on the hood and bounced into the windshield. Whoops.
But the story doesn't end with a trip to the emergency room. Our hero spun mid-air and actually managed to get his feet under him before coming back to Earth. Impressive. You can watch the hilarity for yourself below, but please, don't even think about trying this yourself.
Updated Nissan Micra gets fresh look, more tech and 'New' name
Wed, 11 Sep 2013A few months ago, Nissan gave the Micra (which is not for US consumption) a substantial styling update that included new front and rear fascias, and stuffed more technology into the interior, such as USB ports and auxiliary inputs for audio and a new media touchscreen. Though it's still based on the same fourth-generation architecture, Nissan now calls it the New Micra.
Overall the New Micra - also known as March in some markets - looks similar to but more taut than the vehicle that launched in late 2010, thanks to more angular headlights, a new bumper, a sculpted hood and a revised grille with the Nissan logo sitting inside a chrome V, which establishes a stronger link to Nissan's "corporate look." The rear end receives less-drastic changes, such as a new bumper, LED taillamps and a new infill panel at the bottom of the tailgate.
For all of the details on Nissan's five-door city car, take a look at the press release below, and be sure to check out our live gallery from Frankfurt.
