Up for sale is a very pristine 2010 Nissan Frontier, LE Crew Cab, with original factory paint, not a mark or dent on this beautiful vehicle, this vehicle was purchased new, I am the second owner for the past 4 months, the original owner was very particular about caring for this vehicle as I am, always  in a climate controlled garage, and serviced at the Nissan dealer, I purchased the vehicle when it was traded in at an Acura dealership where I worked, it was being offered as a certified pre owned vehicle, this truck was basically used as a regular car, never for towing or heavy lifting, although it has the most towing capacity in its class it was never used for that. the original owner has added a lot of extras, all the lights are HID, even the reverse lights, the head lights are factory adaptive Xenons. it had LED light bars in the rear under the tailgate which are for signals, flashes, and reverse emitting different colors. it also comes with rear fog lights for those dark driveways when backing out, it also has a cold air intake as you see in the photos, the tires are brand new on 18" alloy rims, the premium sound system is equipped with factory blue tooth, and satellite/XM radio including 6 CD changer. the bed has top of the line tonneau cover, absolutely leak proof, the bed liner is factory sprayed for rust proofing , and has the tracks for tie down. it also has the bed extender. the leather interior is in perfect condition, free from wear, and stains, never smoked in, in short the vehicle is a cream puff. the vehicle comes with an expensive alarm system, extra keys, owners manual. I know what the vehicle is worth. this truck in this condition and miles brings around $22,500 in the auction at Manheim auto auction which the largest auction in the world, that is not counting the six hundred Dollars auction fee!   I was a car dealer for 35 years, and I have access to the auction market report, and can look up the prices of the previous week. please bid only if you are serious, purchasing this truck new would set you back $40,000  please don't be shy to ask questions, 516-639-4247 , the vehicle is currently being financed, the purchaser will have to pay the amount owed to the banks, and the rest to me.

Nissan didn't have much say in merger talks, but it had what FCA wanted

Fri, Jun 7 2019

TOKYO — Nissan wasn't consulted on the proposed merger between its alliance partner Renault and Fiat Chrysler, but the Japanese automaker's reluctance to go along may have helped bring about the surprise collapse of the talks. While Nissan Motor Co. had a weaker bargaining position from the start, with its financial performance crumbling after the arrest last year of its star executive Carlos Ghosn, it still had as its crown jewel the technology of electric vehicles and hybrids that Fiat Chrysler wanted. The board of Renault, meeting Thursday, didn't get as far as voting on the proposal, announced last week, which would have created the world's third biggest automaker, trailing only Volkswagen AG of Germany and Japan's Toyota Motor Corp. When the French government, Renault's top shareholder with a 15% stake, asked for more time to convince Nissan, Fiat Chrysler Chairman John Elkann abruptly withdrew the offer. Although analysts say reviving the talks isn't out of the question, they say trust among the players appears to have been broken. "The other companies made the mistake of underestimating Nissan's determination to say, 'No,' " said Katsuya Takeuchi, senior analyst at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities in Tokyo. The Note, an electric car with a small gas engine to charge its battery, was Japan's No. 1 selling car, the first time in 50 years that a Nissan beat Toyota and Honda. Renault and Fiat Chrysler highlighted possible synergies that come from sharing parts and research costs as the benefits of the merger. But what Fiat Chrysler lacks and really wanted was what's called in the industry "electrification technology," Takeuchi said. With emissions regulations getting stricter around the world, having such technology is crucial. Yokohama-based Nissan makes the world's best-selling electric car Leaf. Its Note, an electric car equipped with a small gas engine to charge its battery, was Japan's No. 1 selling car for the fiscal year through March, the first time in 50 years that a Nissan model beat Toyota and Honda Motor Co. for that title. Nissan is also a leader in autonomous-driving technology, another area all the automakers are trying to innovate. "Although Nissan had no say, its cautionary stance on the merger ended up being very meaningful," Takeuchi said.

Nissan poised to nearly double exports from US by 2015 [w/video]

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

As a part of a plan to double its US export volume by 2015, Nissan started shipping 2014 Pathfinder SUVs from its plant in Smyrna, TN to Australia and New Zealand. These Pathfinders are not only the first right-hand-drive models Nissan has exported from the US, but their 10,000-mile journey through the Gulf of Mexico and across the Pacific is also the automaker's furthest export.
Products from the Smyrna plant are exported to 61 different countries, and Nissan's export volume from the US will account for around 14 percent of its production this year, which is two percent more than 2012. Helping all this is the fact that by early next year, Nissan's production in North and South America will top two million units thanks to added capacity in the US and new plants in Mexico and Brazil. An official video made to look like a news feature joins the press release from Nissan posted below.

2013 Nissan GT-R and 2013 Alpina B6 mix it up on track and street

Fri, 24 May 2013

Here we have Autocar making an unforeseen comparison: the Nissan GT-R against the Alpina B6 at Brands Hatch and on public roads. Steve Sutcliffe clobbers the circuit in the 3,828-pound, all-wheel-drive sports car, then sees how well the 4,114-pound, rear-wheel drive grand tourer does against it.
Sutcliffe says there are quite a few similarities between the two cars, but that's really only on the spec sheet. The Nissan's got two turbos attached to its 3.8-liter V6, 542 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. The Alpina's got two turbos attached to its 4.4-liter V8, 532 hp and 528 lb-ft. But one's brief is to be a monster on the track, the other on the boulevard, and if there's anything the video demonstrates, it's each car's focus.
