2008 Nissan Frontier Se Extended Cab Pickup 4-door 4.0l on 2040-cars
Chicopee, Massachusetts, United States
This is an Extremely Nice 2008 Nissan Frontier King Cab with the 4.0 V6. It has 79K and runs like New! Ibought this a Month ago from a local Second Owner who had driven it The last 50K with no trouble at all. Normal Maintenance. I needed a Truck to pull my medium size boat. The front of the truck had some normal Road Rash and a broken grill. That turned into a fresh Repaint with top of the line Glasuret Base coat-clear coat!! And a new grill and front bumper!! The truck is spotless. Didn't want to look like a Mutt at the boat launch!! Now I hook the truck for the first time to pull and it's a little to light to feel safe? Bought a Nice Escalade with a 6.2 and more GVW. Now I don't need two trucks!! Some one will get a very nice used truck that runs like a top and looks nearly New! Come and look and you will buy it!! Feel free to call with intelligent questions. Thanks, Ken. 413-210-7316 in Mass.

Nissan promising autonomous car production by 2020
Tue, 27 Aug 2013Nissan will bring the autonomous car to consumers by the end of this decade. The announcement was made by CEO Carlos Ghosn at the company's US headquarters in Irvine, CA. Nissan has already begun construction of a dedicated proving ground for the self-driving cars in Japan, with completion targeted for the end of 2014.
Teaming with MIT, Stanford, Oxford and others, Nissan has already outfitted Leaf EVs with the Autonomous Drive (Nissan's brand name for the tech), a suite of new technologies developed from the brand's existing Safety Shield technology. The current iteration of Autonomous Drive uses the Around-View Monitoring system and laser scanners to analyze the environment, while artificial intelligence systems have been installed to help navigate and operate in a changing environment.
While it's easy to say that Nissan will bring the technology to market within the next six or seven years, it's more difficult to say at what price Autonomous Drive will be available. Most remarkable about all of this is Nissan's claim that self-driving cars will be both commercially viable and available at "realistic prices for consumers." It's expecting Autonomous Drive to be available across its range within two vehicle generations.
Weekly Recap: New bosses try to jump-start Cadillac and Lincoln
Sat, 26 Jul 2014
Both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
It's ironic that Cadillac and Lincoln got new bosses within days of each other this month. It's also a commentary on the fact both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
Updated Nissan Micra gets fresh look, more tech and 'New' name
Wed, 11 Sep 2013A few months ago, Nissan gave the Micra (which is not for US consumption) a substantial styling update that included new front and rear fascias, and stuffed more technology into the interior, such as USB ports and auxiliary inputs for audio and a new media touchscreen. Though it's still based on the same fourth-generation architecture, Nissan now calls it the New Micra.
Overall the New Micra - also known as March in some markets - looks similar to but more taut than the vehicle that launched in late 2010, thanks to more angular headlights, a new bumper, a sculpted hood and a revised grille with the Nissan logo sitting inside a chrome V, which establishes a stronger link to Nissan's "corporate look." The rear end receives less-drastic changes, such as a new bumper, LED taillamps and a new infill panel at the bottom of the tailgate.
