This truck was owned by my 87 year old father-in-law who passed in Sept last year. Since then I have had the truck in storage. I just brought it to Florida where we live. It was driven very little and gently and is pretty much like a new truck. The pictures pretty much show the condition. The truck is not perfect and has a couple of very small shopping cart pecks that I tried to show in the pictures but are small enough to not really show very well. There is a small scratch on the front Bumper trim (shown in pic). The worst spot is the back bumper. While at the insurance company to pay his insurance, another customer backed into the truck and pushed the bumper in a little on one side. No other damage at all. Shown in pictures. I priced a brand new bumper at Nissan here in Pensacola Florida this morning and it is $507.00 plus tax. If the winning bidder wants to buy the new bumper if it is that important to you, I will have it installed before pickup. This vehicle is located in Pensacola Florida 32526. The truck has been very well maintained, oil and filters always changed properly. The light for the tire pressure monitor system has been on for years, prob a sensor but affects nothing. I dont know how old the tires are but they are in very good condition. Everything works as it should. I dont know of a single thing this truck needs other than someone who needs an excellent vehicle for personal use or maybe a son or daughter. This vehicle has the 4 cyl gas miser engine. I just had the truck detailed inside and out and it looks like a new truck. I will have the oil and filter changed and it will be full of gas. All the new owner will have to do is get in, turn the key and drive it home no matter where home is. Thanks for looking. Good Luck..
This is an almost like new vehicle but comes with no warranty. Interested prospective buyers are welcome to come see the truck or have it inspected before end of auction. You will find no surprises in this truck!! I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime as truck is also for sale locally. Please ask any questions through Ebay and I will provide answers promptly.

I forgot to mention this is a one owner vehicle........it had 135 miles on it when Mr. Ellis bought it. I went ahead and titled it in my name so the buyer will not have to deal with the estate paperwork due to his death.

Recharge Wrap-up: utility sells discounted Powerwall, Nissan-Renault builds 340K EVs
Wed, Jul 6 2016Vermont electric utility Green Mountain Power is selling discounted Tesla Powerwalls to its customers in hopes of balancing the grid. The battery packs would be used not just to help customers store renewable energy for home solar systems or as backup power, but also to occasionally discharge power back to the grid when needed. In addition to this decentralized energy storage being useful to customers, it also benefits the utility by taking demand off energy generating infrastructure during periods of peak demand. The pilot project will put 500 Tesla Powerwalls in customers' homes. Learn more at Green Car Reports, or in the story from Vermont Public Radio. Together, Nissan and Renault have built 340,000 electric cars. The allied Japanese and French automakers hit 100,000 EVs in July 2013, 200,000 in November 2014, and a quarter million in June of 2015. The Nissan Leaf, which first went on sale at the end of 2010, makes up the bulk of the EVs the Renault-Nissan Alliance has sold. Renault delivered its 50,000th Zoe EV in April 2016. Leaf sales have declined in the US in recent months, due at least in part to the anticipation of the Chevrolet Bolt and Tesla Model 3. Nissan, however, is expected to update the Leaf with a 200-mile driving range in the coming years. Read more at Green Car Reports. Students at the Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) in Karnataka, India have built what they call the Hybrid Water Car. The car uses a system to electrolyze hydrogen from water and add it to the fuel for more efficient combustion. The system has been placed into a chopped up, lightweighted Maruti Omni. While the benefits of onboard hydrogen electrolyzers have been debated for some time, the BIT students don't plan to stop there, as their next project car will be fueled completely by hydrogen. Nissan details Craigslist 1996 Maxima restoration
Wed, 19 Nov 2014"Luxury Defined," in the most ironic sense the galaxy has ever known, is now "Luxury Restored," in the real and incredible sense. Last September, Luke Aker made ads to sell his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE, the YouTube version being a mix truth, bombast, a British accent and a ratchet strap. The ad tickled Nissan such that it bought the car from Akes and made a donation to a charity of his choice. Then they consulted with the citizens of the Internet to decide what to do with it, the final vote being a complete restoration and display at the company's Nashville HQ.
Friends, Netizens, countrymen, the job is done. Nicknamed "Old Glory," comparing the old car with the new is like reading one of those shelter dog rescue stories where the loving family nurses an impossibly cute pup back to health with handheld nursing sessions, baby bottles of warm milk and whispered lullabies. Only Nissan probably didn't sing to the Maxima.
The Maxima is now on display, and we hope they've hung the ratchet strap with it. You can see Aker's new video on the transformation above, plus another video and press release below detailing the Maxima's journey back to New Glory.
North Carolina now charging $100-per-year EV road-use fee
Wed, Jan 15 2014Tobacco Road just got a little more expensive for drivers of electric vehicles such as the Nissan Leaf and Tesla Model S. This year, North Carolina started instituting an annual $100 road-use fee for electric-vehicle drivers in order to close at least a little of the budgetary shortfall for road maintenance in the Tar Heel State, the News Observer reports. North Carolina legislators failed to green-light a hybrid-vehicle fee of $50 a year, which may have made a little more of a dent in the state's road funding. As it is, about 1,600 EVs are registered in North Carolina, meaning that the state will collect about $160,000 in such fees this year. And while some in the state are concerned that the fee could hurt EV adoption, others say it's fair because of the $7,500 in federal tax credits EV buyers get. Oh, and the fact that EV drivers don't pay gasoline taxes. Either way, the fees are a proverbial drop in the bucket, as North Carolina's transportation shortfall is estimated to average about $2 billion a year during the next three decades or so. Other states are starting to charge EV drivers a road-use fee as well. Last February, Washington State began instituting its own electric-vehicle fee of $100 per annum, and a number of other states are considering similar policies.
