2008 Nissan Altima 2.5S

This is great running car with all of the bells and whistles including;
-Keyless Entry, push button start
-Power Windows, locks and mirrors
-Power steering with tilt wheel
-AM/FM stereo with CD Player
-Only 80,769 miles
-4 cyl, 2.5 liter engine that gets an estimated 23 mpg city and 31 mpg highway (fueleconomy.gov)

This car was just serviced and has all new breaks, new front tires, new battery, fresh oil change and new PA inspection.  You can buy this car with confidence, there are no known issues with it, and we would not sell any car if something was wrong with it.  The only small cosmetic issue is the front two hubcaps have some small curb rash on, check pictures, (could easily be painted) and there is a small hole in the front ground effect, looks like a small stone went threw it.

Included in the sale is a 3 month/ 4,500 mile standard warranty, adding extra piece of mind for your purchase. For more information on what this warranty covers, visit progaurdwarranty dot com.

We will also help with shipping, we work closly with a transporation company and receive special dealer pricing that we can pass along to you.  For example we just sold a Nissan Xterra to a gentlemen in Lexington, Kentucky and was able to ship it for only 418.  By using our dealer pricing for shipping we were able to save this customer over $150, and would be happy to extend the same courtesy to you.

KBB retail price is $11,316, bid today and save!!

Nissan Canada kills Cube, is US next?

Mon, 12 May 2014

Canadians, say goodbye to the quirky Nissan Cube. In fact, it's too late; it's already gone. The question now becomes whether the boxy model gets the axe in the US as well.
Nissan didn't exactly publicize the Cube's Canadian retirement. An Autos.ca reader noticed that the vehicle was no longer listed on the automaker's official site in the Great White North. He tweeted the company about it and was told, "Yes, the Nissan Cube has been discontinued in Canada."
The news certainly makes you wonder what the future for the model is in the US. The Cube isn't exactly a hot seller here, either. According to Nissan's last sales results, it sold just 356 units in April, down 23.9 percent from a year ago, and 1,604 vehicles from January to April, down 33.7 percent. Annual sales were as high as 23,000 units in 2010, but they started dipping as early as 2011.

Nissan Pathfinder, Infiniti JX in transmission safety probe

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

Nissan may be forced to recall 110,000 Pathfinder and Infiniti JX35 crossovers, due to a number of customer complaints. Consumers report suddenly losing power, with repair facilities blaming the issue on faulty transmission cooler line connections. Both the Pathfinder and JX35 use a continuously variable transmission. As of right now, the only vehicles being investigated are from model year 2013.
Nissan has been cooperating with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, according to a report from Reuters, and it has developed a fix for the affected vehicles. It's not clear whether this will develop into a full-blown recall, as there have been no known cases of injuries or crashes. But with a potential 110,000 vehicles prone to sudden power loss, a recall seems to be a likely outcome.

Chrysler, Nissan looking into claim that their cars are industry's most hackable

Sun, 10 Aug 2014

A pair of cyber security experts have awarded the ignominious title of most hackable vehicles on American roads to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Infiniti Q50 and 2015 Cadillac Escalade.
Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek are set to release a report at the Black Hat hacking conference in Las Vegas, Automotive News reports. The two men found the Jeep, Caddy and Q50 were easiest to hack based not on actual tests with the vehicles, but a detailed analysis of systems like Bluetooth and wireless internet access - basically, anything that'd allow a hacker to remotely gain access to the vehicle's systems.
Considering this lack of hands-on testing, the pair acknowledge that "most hackable" could be a relative term - they point out that the vehicles may actually be quite secure.
