Up for sale is this Super clean 2008 Nissan Versa S Sedan. This Versa has only 73,000 original miles on it. This
car
looks absolutely great inside and out! It looks as if it has been gently used. Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water
flood and
its being sold with delaware certificate of title that is branded with flood status. I am not sure why
the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I
can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. The NIssan is
in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should,
and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every
switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of
any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The
carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like
that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons.
There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the
car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. The undercarriage shines
like brand new. I dont think this car was ever even driven in the rain.
I have been driving this vehicle on and off and its a really nice
driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done and its ready
for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The tires are in great shape and have about 70% tread remaining. They are all
matching Kumho tires. This is a very well taken cared of car and
it will last
someone forever. This Versa runs and drives like a new Nissan would.
You
literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without
any problems. This is also a ONE OWNER vehicle with no accident history
in the autocheck report.
This Versa is
loaded up with all the options. I has power windows, power locks, cruise control, power mirrors, In-dash CD player, ICE cold AC, Tire pressure monitoring sensors, and
a very economical 4 cylinder engine. This engine gets over 35MPG's with
no problem. The car comes
with two original Nissan Keys. We
also have all the
original floor mats, all the owners manuals and booklets, the unused

Nissan Note getting a little louder with Nismo versions this fall
Thu, Jul 24 2014Nissan's Nismo performance division has been getting more chances to shine recently with tuned models like the Juke Nismo RS and GT-R Nismo. But its latest creation moves closer to the bottom of the Japanese brand's lineup to make a hot hatch out of the (Versa) Note. At least in Japan, the new model is due this fall, and Nismo is keeping a lot of the details about its latest creation a secret for now. What we do know is that it'll be available in two trims – the Note Nismo and the sportier Nismo S. "The development concept of this model was to build a car that makes you want to keep driving, no matter where your destination may be," said the division's chief product specialist, Hiroshi Tamura, in the company's announcement. Aesthetically, the Note Nismo looks the way a tuned Nissan should, with the division's signature red trim outlining the car. It also wears a new, mesh grille, lower air dam, red side sills and rear spoiler. Inside, the S gets standard sport seats with full Recaro buckets as an option. Nissan didn't release technical specs for either version, but it promises that the S also gets a tuned engine with a five-speed manual. But now, allow us to burst your bubble. Autoblog spoke to Nissan North America Product Communications Director Dan Bedore about the hot Note, and he told us, "There are no plans currently for a Nismo Versa Note in the US." Next Nissan Titan will get turbocharged diesel V8 from Cummins
Tue, 20 Aug 2013Toyota might be content to eke out an existence in the fullsize pickup market with its lightly refreshed Tundra, but Nissan looks like it'll be a bit more aggressive with its next-generation Titan. The next Titan will make use of a 5.0-liter, turbodiesel V8 from Cummins, the Japanese company announced at the start of its Nissan 360 industry showcase.
Nissan's commitment to a fullsize pickup isn't really open for debate - it made waves back in April when it lured Fred Diaz, CEO of Chrysler's Ram pickup division, down to its Franklin, Tennessee headquarters. But this news of a monster turbodiesel is big. As of this writing, only Ram is set to offer a diesel engine in a non-heavy-duty pickup. Its 3.0-liter, EcoDiesel V6 will arrive in the Ram 1500 in the not-so-distant future, but that engine will still be a far cry from what's promised with this Cummins mill.
The 5.0-liter V8 is expected to generate well over 500 pound-feet of torque - likely closer to 550, based on the language in the press release - along with over 300 horsepower. Those figures aren't just a shot across the bow of Ford, Chevy, GMC and Ram, they're an opening broadside, meant to demonstrate Nissan's willingness with its next light-duty truck. As Diaz said, "There is no question that the new Titan will turn heads, and with the available Cummins 5.0-liter V8 turbodiesel, we expect to win new fans and attract buyers looking for this unique configuration."
